That's all we had in 1961 when stationed at 29 Palms, CA and iiving in a 21 foot trailer considered military quarters. It did a fine job on most days. At least it made it feal cooler. Never check the temperature but outside it wa Hot Hot, and inside was, well, okay.
Congratulations on getting it installed. You have done a fine job on the "Little House in the Desert," or "Little House on the Sand."

Thanks Wayne! Some days my biggest contribution is ordering and paying for the materials. I say I’m in acquisitions. I have Bob, Dennis and Irene to thank for doing much of the construction. You'll notice that Bob has added "Bob the builder" to his signature line. It's a title he certainly earned here this past winter.

Ok y’all! I guess it’s time for a roll call again. This thread is way too quiet. So tell us what’s exciting in your life. Ok, tell us at least where you are and where you wish you could be.
I'm back in Dateland, AZ but I’d prefer to be in my daughter’s suburban Seattle back yard where I would normally be this time of year. She’s too spooked by the virus to let me come up there. It’s 107° right now.

We are here in Yuma, and yes it is 107 degrees, but with a light wind. We finished painting the bedroom, and are looking to choose a laminate flooring to put in in place of the 16 by 16 tile we had taken out. Also choosing new cabinets for the kitchen expansion/ update. After that on to repaint living room.
Barb,
Your place is looking very great.
All you'se guys be careful, travel safe.

Well as you know DW and I are in Christina Lake BC and are starting to get resigned to the idea we may be stuck (figuratively) for the duration. We are planning on going east and hitting Ship'sAHoy! on the way. It may not happen as our lack luster PM is looking to be keeping our USA/Canada border closed.
All that aside we have confirmed plans of going to
1) Nanton AB
2) Tilly AB
3) Calgary AB
4) Beaumont AB
5) Maymont SK
6) Regina SK
at this point we decide if we can proceed to Ontario, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio New York state and elsewhere and regardless new destinations will be included in the Journey.

Well, baseball season has finally been given the go ahead. GS, Austin, has a tournament this week. 7 games in 4 days. This 12 and under team won the championship over 20 other teams from the Midwest states. Today in the top tier playoffs, our team won THREE games using only 3 pitchers. All pitched complete games. Austin was one of the three. The entire team played their butts off and really were exceptional on offense and defense
Pleasant weather today compared to 2 games yesterday in 90+ degree heat.
