We set foot into IN yesterday, delivering my grandparents' rocking chair to the woman who will finish the recaning someone else started. I need that chair back in use & she needs the work. Fair trade.

This was our first time out of state since April when we got home from AL. I'm hearing noises recently about closing state borders, so wonder about being able to get my chair back!

I can see us now, her on the IN side of the road, me on the IL side, her pushing that chair across & me tying cash to a rock to pitch to her. All we'd need is the Roadrunner whizzing up to stop & look at us before beep-beeping.

There were a few RVs on the highways, not nearly as many as you'd expect this time of year. It gets the wanderlust up, though, just seeing them.

Our neighbor brought up a big box of freshly picked sweet corn later on. That supplied most of my supper ... mmm-mmm!

Isn't this also the season for drop & run zucchini? We actually ask for those hidden gems that have turned baseball bat size overnight. Similar to the English marrows, they are one of M's favorite veggies. Me? Meh.

Y'all be super careful out there. Don't be scared, just sensible. Love you, every one of you crazy, silly, ....!

Wanderlust it is for us. Really wish this craziness would be over with.

Hey Dave & Nola, we did have to go to the store today so masked up when shopping.
I masked up and stopped at Snowflake Bakery and picked Earlene up 4 of them scrumptious apple fritters. You know, the ones you almost turned around and came back for?

Ummm! So good. Are you drooling?

Good Morning Mutants

Typical Sunday for me, run to Walmart for food and do some laundry.
Thought it was interesting that Walmart passed out masks for anyone entering without one.

Have a Great Day.

Hi Ed!

I'll challenge you to the worst Sunday task. Today is the only day that our garbage transfer station is open. I get to load everything on Smarty's cargo tray and drive it 10 miles (4 are dirt roads) to where there are 2 open top cargo trailers.

There are flies, major stink and a grumpy older attendant that frequently pretends to be asleep. Oh, and masks are mandatory but they don’t help the odor. And today the temperature outside is already 112*.

Hug Jackie for me!

Well know fact that Covid will not go near a mask wearing garbage thrower awayer.
If you are into that little factoid how would you like to but the bridge I own in Brooklyn?

Great Thunder and lightening show afforded us last evening. Now if rain would have come with it area farmers would have been muchos grateful.

Lazy day here, nap, then watching the SPACE X splashdown.... that was smooth...... oh, on tv not in person....

rainy season, so we get rain every day, makes plants grow, and surprising does not make it feel more humid.

Son down here is changing surgery centers to a new one opening in September, He will be the Main anesthisiologist... it is 6 miles from my house... He and is wife opened up their new equestrian center a week ago.... they own 4 horses, but the trainer/manager has 10other horses there, so there is still room for 2 more... It is about 12 miles from me.

Enjoying life so much, Larry is feeling good, gets a dose of iron tomorrow, so that will also help...

Havent posted it on here, but Friday is our big little day.... we are getting back in rv on a much smaller degree.... trading out beast of a 40’dp (remember the berkeliner). Getting a much smaller one that I feel comfy driving... 24’.... Di’s Delano...
day trips, weekends, horse shows, and will plan a trip to Arkansas in the fall (if health allows).

THOR 2021 Delano 24fb.

Small diesel MB sprinter chassis, all the new drivers assist thingys. Has a Murphy Bed..... should be just right... especially day trips so Larry has a rest place...... love that it only has 1 TV.... has solar already set up, lp generator...

Anyway check it out... the thor website has a cool 360* view....
Great price, great trade price... my money man was satisfied with the deal....

Made the deal a few weeks ago, pick it up on Friday, so my photos then.....
