He and is wife opened up their new equestrian center a week ago.... they own 4 horses, but the trainer/manager has 10other horses there, so there is still room for 2 more... Enjoying life so much, Larry is feeling good, gets a dose of iron tomorrow, so that will also help...

Havent posted it on here, but Friday is our big little day.... we are getting back in rv on a much smaller degree.... trading out beast of a 40’dp (remember the berkeliner). Getting a much smaller one that I feel comfy driving... 24’.... Di’s Delano...
day trips, weekends, horse shows, and will plan a trip to Arkansas in the fall (if health allows).

THOR 2021 Delano 24fb.

Small diesel MB sprinter chassis, all the new drivers assist thingys. Has a Murphy Bed..... should be just right... especially day trips so Larry has a rest place...... love that it only has 1 TV.... has solar already set up, lp generator...

Anyway check it out... the thor website has a cool 360* view....
Great price, great trade price... my money man was satisfied with the deal....

Made the deal a few weeks ago, pick it up on Friday, so my photos then.....

Well our house sale was confirmed so now we move into the Motorhome. For the next while until we find a new project. We can't go anywhere so at least we can use the coach. I had a nice drive from the storage lot to our campsite. It was only 2 blocks but hey! Life is good!

Di, glad to hear the downsizing is going well and y'all will be able to get out a little.

Dennis, glad the sale went through. Come on down...oh, the border is closed. Well when it isn't.

Di, nice looking rig! And the layout is very practical, nothing mechanical in the slides. Now your only challenge will be what not to take with you. Have fun!

Yep..... already pared down a lot, when we moved, Then again when I unpacked into the house.... now again....
only simple stuff going back....

no pantry supplies, minimal cookware, got new paper plates and light microwave safe wheat straw dishes..... no appliances except coffee pot. This one will have no big home cooked meals.... cause it will be short term....

At least that is the plan for now... once we get it I can see what I might need/want..... but think I can adjust..... until I was 48 we mainly tent camped..... and many times on an island, so could only take what the boat had room for...

Congratulations, youse two! It's hard to get rid of that wanderlust once it takes hold, so I'm glad you'll be able to scratch that itch again. It's a sweet looking rig, that Delano. It seems perfect for your needs & plans.

Say "hey!" to Larry from us. We'll be looking forward to your pics!

Here's an apropos-of-nothing-at-all pic of the potted pond on our south deck. For one amazing week we're having weather that makes sitting outdoors pleasant. I wish y'all the same!Click image for larger version

Speaking of iron in your blood:
How to mess with your doctor: Put some double faced tape on a refrigerator magnet and put it in your pocket. At the doctor's office, tell them you think your blood has too much iron. When they ask you why you would think that, pull out the magnet and stick it on your arm, then say, "See."

Wow, we managed to not see any twisters but all the bells and alarms were clanging about 8 last evening. Super high winds and black ominous clouds. Had a couple of drinks (Rusty Nails) with our Moochdocking Hosts and laughed it all off. Next stop, when found, a Cummings dealer to get the thermostat checked.
