Oh boy! Can I picture that. Especially at a deer camp.

Tim, I took your advice on the vacuum cleaner. Earlene asked me to vacuum and I pulled and pulled on that cord and it wouldn't start. She finally gave in and told me to get out of the way.

Funny thing is she pulled that cord all the way out and put it in the wall somehow and wow, the vacuum started. Amazing.

I think that’s what you call "planned ignorance". or "self serving stupidity"

So, wonder what we are doing? Well, this COVID-19 has saved us a lot of money this year in not traveling.

Oops! Something went wrong on the farm. All that money we saved is disappearing!

This is what we are $15K up to.

It is difficult work. Every time I stepped outside I broke into a sweat. Probably because the temps are in the 90's.

OK, I'm just guessing cuz you provided no clue other than what looks like someone who was digging around in your yard looking for something that they couldn't find

Is it your sewer line or something??? Not clear to me what all the digging is for. I first thought geothermal but then realized if they dug 3 feet down there they'd be in the Gulf

Guess # 2 is a water line. Reason is looking at the pipe going into the house, that wouldn't be a sewer outlet being so high up, but a water line, sure.

So who did you hang out over the fence there? (3rd pic down, beside the gate) Or is that the new napping position? Is that what you'd call hung over?

It is the sewer line. What you see coming out of the house is where the washer and dryer were. Instead of tunneling they come out through the wall and then down to the line. Same for the kitchen line.

When they used the auger they came up with some root fiber and mud. Further investigation using a camera showed many cracks in the old ABS piping.

I watched very carefully to make sure they were not going over the hidden coffee cans of money.

Sue, stop looking at pants for cryin' out loud.

We don't have moles here, we sent them all North.

Actually I wish they had found the hidden money. I buried it in a safe place and you know how that goes...it's safe

Well, they finish plumbing everything today. I asked for pictures and I'm going to post one below.

Sometimes (all the time) I can't help myself. The look on the lead plumber's face was priceless when I said, "I want all that mud cleaned off the pipes before you put the dirt back in."

Like I said, I can't help myself.

I think some of Tim has invaded my thought process. Such a shame.
