Going back to that TOTO washlet description..."oscillating and pulsing"...and no one said anything naughty...
Saw a cartoon some time back about a woman using the bathroom in a friend's home. She screamed and came running out with her pants at half-mast. The friend said, "What's wrong?" She said, "your toilet PEED on me!".

Well . . . . it looks like the mini-GC at Shipshawanna, IN is going to be our last camping adventure (though we continue to consider attendance to future GC events by getting a hotel room near the GC site).
We just received a purchase deposit on our little 17' camper. We negotiated a closing date to enable us to attend the mini-GC.
We are saddened by our departure from the "run around the country" lifestyle, but the time has come and the circumstances we have found ourselves in require this move. We didn't use the camper in 2019 due to my 4 hospitalizations, 2 surgeries, and recuperation periods that were as slow as slow could be. Thanx to the good Lord, I'm feeling about 80-90% at the present time. I have a new "normal for me".
I will continue to haunt the online threads.
Mary Ann and I treasure the wonderful memories of our experiences with our mutant family. All of you have filled an empty spot in our post-retirement lives. God's speed to you all. BTW - there's a nice campground 5 miles from our home and there's a comfortable sofa bed in our front bedroom/office.

Looking forward to next week (big time). Yes, we'll be in Florida this winter. With the pandemic, we are playing our departure from Indiana by ear. We'll be in touch.

Pawpaw Steve we too have wondered is it really nessessary to have TWO camping units settin at our S&B that are not getting used as they once was. It appears our next outing in the MH will be Feb-Mar as we'll travel to AL to wait on GC 9 to arrive. Of course the smaller camper will be parked in the woods for 3 months for hunting season. Turning loose of the MH will be a difficult move for us.

We drove that road, too, a few years back. First time I ever had 2 cats carsick at the same time.

We've talked about the eventual sale of the MH, too. It's M's mancave, so would be doubly difficult to give up.
Obviously there has to come a time. Papaw, I'm glad to hear you'll keep haunting us & plan to land near any GCs you can. Being as you're a founding member, that's good news.
One day, we may even find ourselves in that CG you mentioned. In a post-Covid world, of course.
Cheers!

Oh Lord...I can just picture that movie in my head. Did the cats give you dirty looks? Like, "nice choice, thanks a lot!"

Steve. a hard decision but a decision one has to make based on their circumstances. You are always welcome down this way.
I'm not ready to give up yet.

Wise decision from 2 very wise people.... that is kinda why we moved.... still have vacation/retirement feelings. Just wasnt the same in AR, we felt like shut-ins there.... havent regretted our move and while I know the new baby is not a need, but a want, I do think it will be used.....
Besides sold it for more than we owed, went to a less expensive unit that is also 5 years NEWER than the beast.... and I can drive... it is a win win situation.....
Even If I just drive it to Steve and MA winter home... for a day visit....
