Has anyone else noted that every storm event we have now is way more powerful than the last? The guy at CNN seamed to be really getting sexually excited by the pending (to him) catastrophe. I think the world needs a reality check and maybe abolish all these silly weather announcers. Its like they are on a gloom and doom rally. Sheesh.

I think it got a little windy while I was gone. This used to be my hoop shed.

Please strong prayers/oms for all of the coast...

Jne and Dave are in Beaumont, TX....

Earlene and Wayne are also in danger zone (She says not so much).....

Good news from us, Larry had telemed appt with kidney dr today, and he is back to stage 3 kidney disease, while that is not good, it is better than in April when he was at the highest level he could be... severe renal failure....

Prayers continue,
so relieved that the storm surge wasnt as bad as predicted, but now no electricity and wind damage will cause hardships to many.......

Just texted Dave (& Jne) and they lost electricity as they expected they would, however just like us - no rain. Not only did we not have rain (which we needed) we didn't have any wind. (Kevan - no comment on "wind."

Thank you Lord!

We are open for visitors again.

Hopefully all our mutant friends and family will ride out this storm OK.

Had a nice chat with Earlene yesterday and I guess Wayne was already in the bunker awaiting the storm's arrival.

Big bad brave man that he is.

Y'all stay safe and today is another travel day for us. Heading east towards the Great Lakes until we get where we are going but have to figure out exactly where that is

LOL or maybe more trips to the dump? That big shed made it too easy to keep stuff. I'm thinking a yard tool closet as part of the screen porch project might be a good idea.
