Without wind or rain how can they call it a storm?

Big bad brave man that he is.

Y'all stay safe and today is another travel day for us. Heading east towards the Great Lakes until we get where we are going but have to figure out exactly where that is
We all know where you are going if you don't change your ways...!

OH! It was a storm alright, just not for us. Maybe your dilapidated shed didn't see wind but a neighbor who said, "Oh, what the heck!"

Hoping all are safe from storms and get any missing electricity back soon.

The birds and I made it safely home with no unforeseen issues happening. Boko is happy to fly around the house again and Mac is happy to be back in his big house (it's 8 feet tall, 10 feet long and 4 feet deep).

Watched Laura most of the morning, then when I got on internet, it wasn't there, so that seems to be the extent of our inconvenience so far.

I have not gone out since it is still drizzling to see if chairs, etc have blown around. Gotta head out to get the mail soon.

Laura gave us a lot of rain so far & very windy around 2:30 - 3:30...

Hope all is good there...

Yes I did, but it is a necessity. You would not want to pay for what the puppies would be worth!

No, he wasn’t here to help with the construction, but now that you reminded me I do believe I saw his name on the plans.

Neighbor said we had 2 fierce wind events while I was gone. Winds were 60+ mph but they only lasted about 15-20 minutes. AND... no rain to cool things down. The heat is bad, but we are also getting humidity in the 50% range. This is hibernation weather here. You plant yourself in front of the swamp cooler and pray for rain.

I have to wait until after sunset to move some solar panels. Anything metal is too hot to touch when the sun is hitting it.

Thank you Di I missed that one altogether. Shows you how close I read his post!

Ill take credit when due, but since most of my building projects start with a pile of material and I make my design as I go, finding actual "Plans" would be a real find!

At the sunflower fields near us.

Gorgeous day & wonderful company, even if we had to take 2 cars for safety.
