We have warm boots too but they were relegated to the trophy rack and never ever to be worn again.

The people perpetrating and perpetuating the myth should be taken out and shot.

Too bad it isn't a myth, but we'd better not get into that here!

Having said that, our PoP will show that w/ all precautions taken, one can actually meet face to face & collect actual, real-time hugs. It's been a few delightful days of yakyakyak, reconnecting w/ Dave & Deb as they start wending their way from OH to AZ.

Catch 'em if you can. They're on their way!

One more 'snow shovel story':
When we sold our house, I made an unofficial ceremony of presenting our snow shovel to the new owners, telling them I hoped to never have to touch one of these things again. (We also gave them our lawn mower, which they appreciated as theirs had been stolen a few weeks previously...)
In the ensuing four years, i have only encountered that white stuff 3 times:
once driving up Mount Lemon in Tucson AZ, once at a campground (it had fallen the day before we arrived) and once driving into a storm between Santa Rosa and Albuquerque NM (I turned back to S.R. and took an alternate route).

Hey, you know a Canuck wouldn't BS ya! The truth was I left them laying on the driveway after I passed out from over shoveling and the wife backed the car over them.

I've never owned a snow shovel
I've never seen a reason, just let the snow fall and lie.

But hay forks, well that's another thing
I've used plenty, and often while I sing

And when the hays done and I get the itch to travel
A short handled hay fork is packed so it dosnt rattle
Cause digging clams in PEI was the best use for a hay fork
And was really lots of fun.

Oh, dang it Tim!
You had to mention PEI.
I could write a saga about why we should go back there!

Sounds great but please remember Lucy Maud Montgomery used up red hair, green gables and Summerside so you can't include those in your saga without fear of being accused an plagiarist!

And more folks from Canada (notice I did not say Kanukistan) can come help us enjoy PEI.

Tim, didnít you win the official RV Mutant Lobsteer Trap?

By the way, Muties, Nola and I have been blessed with tomatoes from the garden of our dear friend in Prescott AZ.
