Depends if you are the fisherman or the fish.

I get a lot of grumpy drivers passing me and frequent 1 finger salutes, but I just smile, wave (with all fingers upright) and keep rolling along at 65. I pay more in gasoline taxes than most cars and have the right to drive that highway, too.

Ha ha! I do the same thing but with 10 fingers. If I am within audible range I say, "Here are 10 more just like it."

Too much construction going on with I4 so I've been avoiding that.
Been there done a lot of that except for FL. Stayed at Ft. Mead, VA once and circumvented a lot of traffic. Don't remember the exact route. Sure did like U.S. 17 as an easy way North out of FL.

The casual fisherman certainly relies on many factors. Knowledge of the species of fish, the lake he is on, the time he has to put into his activity. Experance is the key meaning someone that fishes the same lake every weekend has the upper hand and certainly luck is a factor.

The professional fishermen of today is a whole other creature. You can bet he is knowledgeable and has all the legal help he can get such as light weight poles and reels so he can cast countinuously all day long, a bait in the boat don't catch fish. Depth finders with GPS, water temperature and 3D imagining. A boat that will handle bad weather and float in shallow water as well. My youngest son was considering going all pro but it's a big jump to rely on your skills to pay the bills. He does have some sponsors already, one provides a boat rigged out totally another providing poles. It's a tough life cause your at a different lake each tournament so you have to learn fast what does and dosnt work. But LUCK plays a large part in everything we do. I like to think of it as blessings.

Fishing?
Itís a challenge that pushes us to fill the limit, to bring in the haul, cuz thereís over 30 family folks that are fishing, and over 30 that want to eat.
An outing didnít always make a meal, but 2 outings did.
And Uncle Oscar showed us the secret: have him spit snoose on our hooks!

Excuse me but in this time of pandemic, social injustus, political turmoil and rageing weather changes. There is something more important. No not Sun Rays, not X Rays nor Gamma Rays or even Death Rays! Yes it's the Tampa Bay Rays that are playing and ahead!

Speaking of choking , LA practicaly gave them game 4 in the 9th inning. That why I enjoy baseball,it's not over till it's over!
