Well, I guess you could say Smarty died from abuse at my hands. I guess she really wasn’t meant to go racing thru the desert. I spent $800 getting engine work done and she died the same day, leaving me stranded at the school (where our mailbox is). That’s when I gave up and just parked her.

Being made by Mercedes and no longer being imported into the US, parts are REALLY pricey. I decided to put the $ into Ranger instead and he now has air conditioning. He's much more useful here.

DZA (the Scion) is my drive to town vehicle since she has automatic transmission and AC. Ranger and DZA should last forever since I seldom leave home anymore. Ranger will get towed behind Homer if we ever take another RV trip.

BTW the shop told me what Smarty needed was a new engine, but I might be able to "nurse" it along for a while. "A while" was about 90 miles. The body has seen lots of abuse so no way I'd pay for an engine. The guy who put the AC in Ranger says he wants to buy her.

I was shocked that that Wabbit stood still long enough for me to walk over and take the photo. Sadly, it may have gotten into the rodent bait box that I keep on that side of the fence. It is smart enough to stay out of Lily's yard. No way I’d let Lily out of the yard to chase it. If it’s sick she probably could have caught it.

Just thought I’d post some vaccine information. It’s been about 9 hours since I’ve had my second injection. Ive noted, swelling of ankles, bloating in stomach and tightness in waist, drowsiness and unsatisfied hunger. So another words, a typical night.

Seriously the only side effect I’ve had with the first and now this injection is soreness at the injection site.

So what's the problem, just replace the bicycle peddles!

Regular schedule is 6:30 pm on ABC, then later on they have been doing a celebrity show.

Just my opinion but I think Ken Jennings is knocking it out of the park on Jeopardy! For those that don’t watch, he’s the guest host since Alex passed away.

Is he the guy that wants so much money a few years ago? I can’t imagine Jeopardy without Alex Trebek.

Last year they had a series with three of their biggest winners. It lasted some time if I recall, he was the winner of it and that made him the GOAT, Greatest Of All Time. He also was the most normal of the three. One was quirky, the other very quiet.

It's not that I don't like Ken, but I don't share your opinion. Watching him host is a bit annoying cuz he's more demeaning than Alex (who did so very subtly) but you just know Ken has the answer before any of the contestants as well, which is annoying

Alex was truly the best (despite his jabs on contestants at times) and I hope they switch to another guest host soon.
