Just to give you an update on the snowpocalypse here in AR. Today it was necessary to venture out from the safety of the homestead. We found that most of the population had come to the same crises and were at The Walmart!

Running the blower fan on high we were able to make the necessary stops without incident.

Yep we were driving past mountains of snow and it was 61į. Air conditioning was on high!

That’s Arkansas and now a week of rain leading up to severe weather!

Are you going to continue this diatribe when Denise and I move to Mississippi?

Hate it when you northerners get all fluffed up on yourselves.

Moose I understand that if you move to Mississippi the welcoming committee gives you a banjo...

(I can say this stuff - the KY branch of my family were stereotypical "tobacco road" farmers - worn out appliances on the porch, junk cars out in the field, etc. 1962 Buick being used as a chicken coop. They were good people though, just poor.)

Now it's turned to poor folks? ir2.one. But, I'm extremely blessed with my kids, their husbands, grand-kids and a lot of family. I have all I want materially (for now) and if I want more, I get it.
Am I a mutant?

You certainly Might be. Here in mutantville we have a sure fire test that determines mutantnisity.
One must 1) Name something your coach, 5er, TT or tent doesnít have that you donít miss. (Some have answered hot tub, dishwasher, yard work etc.)
2) Make this declaration that ďThe Journey is the Destination ď.

Then a high level team of experts will analyze, criticize and summarize your answers then give fort a ruling. Then the long wait for the lust (list) keeper to magically appear with the highly coveted RVMutant #. Itís that simple.

I remember many years back some relatives stopped by our house during the Cicada emergence and we’re afraid to get out of their car. They live in Tulsa with little or no woods around them as opposed to the acres of woods around my house. They were teens or early 20s and had never heard the loud noise they make.

Di, here's a movie suggestion for you & any other foodies here. It's called The Hundred Foot Journey & is on Netflix, I believe. Maybe you've already seen it? It's from 2014 & stars Helen Mirren.

https://youtu.be/YdBpynIchls

Cheers!

Last time I heard them they were in Indiana. Their range seems to be extending westward, so we may have them here in eastern Illinois this time. A body can hardly think when they are in full song! The annual ones are loud enough, but these are in another league!
