White River campground is nice except if the river gets too high it floods and has to close. There's a KOA farther east near Anderson that is fairly nice except for KOA prices. One thing the Indy area lacks is decent RV parks. There are 2 in town, one is primarily a fishing park, both are tight spaces. Think there's some spots at the State Fairgrounds but some may feel the surrounding area is sketchy. There are a couple out east a bit, one is a KOA, the other is a little run-down but the staff are nice. There are some smaller ones but we are too long to fit.

Sue, we full timed for about 5 years with 6 (all from camp grounds) cats and everything was fine EXCEPT for the furniture getting shredded. I will not let them shred the leather furniture in the new to us MoHo. We are lucky to have a cat loving neighbor that works cheap but I can not ask too much. the things we do for our four legged children

At 10 pm a Wreaker shows up and takes me to his wrecker yard to stay till Monday when the shops open. His yard is just across from the Taladaga Speedway. While unhooking us from his truck I noticed his name, Bobby. So I ask him if he was Bobby and his reply was “That’s what my momma told me”

I was afraid to ask him if his first name was Ricky!

For those that don’t know, Ricky Bobby was the main character in the redneck movie!

Got in bed finally about midnight.

We are in Llano TX!

A fine GC could happen here at Riverway RV Park. $30 per night!
The facilities are amazing, and the camp is on the Llano River!

Please check it out!

Dave,

Talk to them about a GC in April 2024. The total eclipse of the sun happens there on the 8th. That’s a Monday so I suggest we look at booking a week or 2 starting the 5th or 6th.

I hate to say it, but I agree with Wayne! (Shhhh!) Tim's just too eager to think this through properly, right?

Now, an April date would be appealing, & Llano is surely on the way from anywhere to anywhere else...just not in a straight line sort of way. I remember getting to Rockport that way once upon a time!

2024, eh? I'll put it on my planner. [emoji106][emoji322][emoji1739][emoji126]

I need ... need, I tell ya ... to go to Calamity & Grace, & to The Texas Tin Lizard, both in Llano. And ... and ... and ....

For a small town, there are a lot of galleries! Not to mention the river & some good eatin' spots. Something to look forward to!

By that time, some sense of normalcy will have returned I hope!

Y'all found it, we'll come!
