That is one scrumptious cake! I'm carefully rationing the part I brought with me.

I suggest a month long starvation diet before visiting Earlene and Wayne. That way you won’t feel as guilty enjoying their marvelous fare. They make quite a feast! We miss them already

Barb, so glad you came and visited with us. Sorry about the weather. We didn't think to look ahead to where you were going and possibly delay you departed a day..but who thinks ahead, right?

Hope you enjoyed the visit. The food was so so with my limited chef skills. Earlene does do a good job though. (I had to say that if I want to eat again at home.)

Wayne the food was scrumptious! And I ate way too much. But I am slowly enjoying the goodies I brought with me.

Corsicana was a good choice to stay the night. We only caught the tail end of the storm about midnight. Other places further north weren’t so lucky. I made it to my brothers today and got parked and level. The sun is shining part of the time. Hooray!

Will call to chat when you are back out on the road because the time changes make it difficult to figure out what you are up to and calling times that don't interfere with your time. Caio.

Yes, poor Homer has been neglected while I was putting all my time, energy and cash into Connie. This is a good way to spend that stimulus $.

On our travels back to the north, I stopped at a rest area and then saw this! I just can't imagine the look on the department of motor vehicles inspector when this guy went in for the inspection

We left just a couple minutes after they left but this guy was "flying" down the road so fast we couldn't catch up!
