Oh Sh*t

So getting the motorhome ready for departure to the Shipwreck. Understand haven't done much to it in two years. Got home from w**k and wanted to sanitize the fresh water tank and lines. Poured bleach into garden hose, hook up open valves and faucet, listen sounds good. Waited for the tank to fill.... Ok have water dripping from bay, wait, its running down the side of the MH from the roof vent. Turn water off, scratch head, how does fresh water run out of a stack???
Well if you hook the hose to the black tank flush and have the black tank dump valve closed, you will fill the black tank up, and water will come out the stack. The GREAT news is the seal on the toilet held and the bowl was only 3/4 full. Could have had a real mess.

Iím going to say youíve done a good job cleaning your black tank!

By the way in case anyone cares, there is a book written about me. They misspelled my name but itís certainly about me and the past year. If anyone is interested you can find it in the Old Testament, itís the book of Job,

Yes, distractions can be messy and dangerous. I once forgot to hook up one of the tow bar arms. Ever since then I have a count of 13 things to connect, or is it 11???? I travel so infrequently anymore and Iíve changed toads. Iíll have to be extra diligent next time.

I screwed up, overfilled my black tank while flushing it. Dirty water came out of the shower floor drain and overflowed on the bathroom and hallway floor. What a mess. Lots of clorox to clean it up.

Want to tell you all a story bout a man named Ed
Drove for a living just to keep his family fed
Then one day he was filling up his tank
Then up from the roof came his gurgling thanks
Poop that is, black stuff, Indiana manure

Well the first thing you know ol' Ed's a janitor
Had to mop and dry all the mess he had made
Said the Shipwreck GC is the place we ought to be
So they loaded up the RV and moved to Shipshewana

Indiana that is, Amish carts, horse poop everywhere

That could have been a catastrophe just waiting to dump on someone!
