Timberland Trails " Maine"

So I had a moment and called the campground in Msine for our next GC.

Guess what? They are building cabins this winter.
So Steve and Mary Ann give them a shout this winter and get one reserved.

I will block out some sites, thinking December ish, and make our reservation.

Sue that looked like a fun day for all involved

Carl when I miss the bad stuff I caulk it up to clean living! Lucky you Im living so clean its seems to be helping you!

Ed, you the man! Im thinking there might be a gold star in your future! Now where did I put that gold paint!

For us, were taking a trip down to deer camp tomorrow. Had a camper wanting to take his camper down already, was hoping I would take mine down too. Not yet, but soon. Temps are starting to go down!

Keep us advised as time passes. We have every intention to attend, God willing.

Left Shipwreck yesterday and now in Terre Haute, IN.
Pulled in and set up. Put awnings out and the patio awning was about 1/4 way out and the end roller just let loose and separated from the awning.

Notice the hole at the top. There is one at the bottom also. That is where the screws went to hold the two parts together. The holes were wallowed out. Now the are pop-riveted.

Since the repairman was already here I asked him to check the other three ends. Every screw was loose.

Something to think about on next maintenance walk through.

The awning dropping the way it did bent the other motor end and created a slight wabble when extending or retracting. I'll get it replaced when we get home.

Im not saying I had anything to do with your awning issue. But I will say that it seamed plenty sturdy those nights I banged my head on the support arm.

That's what loosened those screws, or is it the head that is missing the screw!

Anyone who has motorized awnings needs to take a step ladder and check all fittings.

Great video and the perfect music! It sure looks like a wonderful world and a GREAT GC spot once the borders open.

Without Sena I can now cross the border. That's what you call a mixed blessing.

I don't think its in the GC location category just yet. There is no pavilion although one is planned, the sewers are dumped at a sani station as the plumbing for the full hook up is being planned and approved by the regional district (basically a year away) and the sites still have to be upgraded to 50 amps (30 amp highest option sans a pigtail) It would be fun to show you this area though. Only 4.2 miles from Laurier Washington
