I gathering of mutants occurred, no food involved as it was almost bedtime for some.

I know the names of all seven. Enjoyed our encounter at Carl's RV park in Florida.
BTW, I sent an e-mail to Timberland Acres in Maine to inquire about renting a cabin for the "Grand Curiosity". (Hope I didn't let the cat out of the bag)

In fact, just today, I put some zip ties on Boko's house to prevent the top from falling down on her while driving. After it happening on the trip to Indiana and then again coming here to FL, I figured it's high time I fixed it
In fact, the hold up was I couldn't figure out how to better secure things as the super heavy duty velcro couldn't handle the stress of moving the cage (to clean) and the tops were just held in place by clamps. So I drilled holes through the Lexan and put in these zip ties. They lock the "box" down real nice so now there are 4 on top of Boko's and 10 going around on the bottom. It's a solid box now. Impossible for the top to "fall in"
Tomorrow I'll finish Mac's using the same technique. I guess the clamps on Mac's house always held up better than Boko's, thus she was never subjected to the crashing top.

Carl,
Harbor Freight now has stainless steel zip ties! They’re a bit pricey so I haven’t tried them yet, but I’ll report back when I do. If your girls start chewing on the plastic ones these might come in handy. Here the plastic ones, even the black ones, don’t last long in the sun.

Fortunately, where the ties are going the birds can’t access them. And this is all indoors, so no worry about the sun degrading the plastic.

Done and done...both are very stable now, much easier to move for cleaning, etc.

You guys are not playing along, very well.
So if you look closely at this group shot, you will find Larry the Lobster.
He is our mascot for the 2022 GC near Bar Harbor. We will be staying at Timberland Acres in Trenton Maine.
Dates arrival August 17, Depart August 24. Of course you folks can do as best fits your plans.
Have not made reservations yet, but thinking soon.

So a few pages back Carl ( The bird whisperer), posted that a Macaw was available near him. After a few phone calls and a lot of thought Jackie and I decided we would love to have it. So we left Thursday after driving 525 miles and headed South. Arrived back home this morning.
So met Crush our new addition.

For all our bacon-lovers, see above!
Wait till you see the very young Prince Harry's recipe from Disney World. Priceless, "you little brat"!
