Sue and Martin, very disappointing that you will not be visiting us this year, but we do understand. We wish you and Martin the very best this Winter staying in "Cold Land."

The Planning Continues

We have round tripped the Christina Lake Campground where we had all our under the coach stuff stored. Drove up through intermittent rain and snow and bare to covered highways. The fun started right where highway 1 offshoots to highway 3 and 5 when we got stopped in a long long lineup of vehicles. A young flagging girl came over and said that a transport jackknifed while climbing a hill on the snow up ahead and the highway would be blocked for quite a bit. So we got to sing Christmas Tunes blasting from the Family Traditions radio station in the car.

The next adventure came about an hour after the traffic started rolling again and we were flagged off the highway and queried about why we were on the highway and whether or not our trip was really essential. I talked my way passed that issue and we continued on our way to the lake location. We had to side trip to Trail BC (just 55 miles each way of snowy mountain ice covered road. Way to much fun that trip.

We loaded all our stuff up yesterday and then took off for the RV park we are in and this really exasperating trip was forced because there was another severe storm warning for the entire route all the way back to Vancouver. I was super proud of Denise on the entire trip as we were into and out of predicament after predicament as road and weather conditions did twists and turns minute by minute. To say I was impressed with her dedication to us getting back and her driving 300 miles in adverse conditions is an understatement.

Anyway we are now posed for a quick Christmas & Boxing Day trip over to Victoria and then Campbell River and then back here to Peace Arch RV Park. The border is 7ish miles away and then Southern Aridzona is just a six day skip and a jump away.

Have a great day y'all and stay healthy, happy and safe.

Tornado

Thanks for asking Sue.
We are all okay.
The tornado passed just Northwest of our house. We are on 2600 and it went through the field at 33.
There are a couple homes destroyed out in the fields along with pole barns and grain bins.

Ed, very happy to hear that y'all are safe. Was thinkin' of y'all....well you crepes anyway!

Dennis, we know how frustrating it has been for you and Denise not being able to travel. Happy to hear that things are now "rolling!"

It got cold here yesterday, down to 55˚F or so. I had to put on long pants. I prefer showing off my legs.
Not so bad though as it is going up into the mid to high 70's this coming week, then back down to the 60's then...who knows. If you don't like the weather in Texas, just wait 5 minutes.

So, EVERYONE, come on down!

Dennis, I’ll believe it when I see the whites of Dutchess headlights. How many times has the plan changed?

I rode my bike today for about ten miles. It was good to get out of the RV and see and do something that wasn’t RV related.

It was cold and windy and I froze my caboose. A hot cup of jasmine peals sure was refreshing when I got back.

Glad you had a good day.
So is this a gas bike, a electric bike or a pedal bike.

Choose your answer wisely, opinions on you might ride on your answer!

We don’t judge character on your camping unit but bikes are different[emoji2][emoji2]

DW and I have put hundreds of miles on our bikes. Most of them while strapped to our toad!

It’s a pedal bike that is a gas to ride. Does that shock you!
