Pups look good though.

The thread goes two days without anything said, then Wayne has to offend someone. Good news is it wasn’t me!

for those that don't care we are back home at the "Barn". can't wait to leave again but have to deal with broken welds that hold the propane tank first.

Reporting in from Florida
We were contacted today from our mutant friends in Texas and I was ordered to let the RVMutants know how I'm doing at the present time. So here goes.
I underwent surgery for 3 lower abdominal hernias on January 26th. I went for 3 -4 months suffering from pain that varied between "bothersome" and "excruciating" to "debilitating". The surgery was declared a success by my surgeon (that I really trust and like).
4 days after surgery I came down with Covid. Lucky for me that I didn't have the coughing attacks that my youngest daughter suffered thru. My problem was sleeping in bed for 11-12 hours and then taking 3 -4 naps in my lazyboy.
Healing was a slowwwwwwww process. I returned to my surgeon for a post-op visit after 3 1/2 weeks. I asked him "when is this pain going to subside". He said "oh, about 9 - 12 weeks after surgery. We did a lot of work on your insides".
Sooooooo . . . . I've slowly regained 60% of my normal strength, I just now resumed doing some driving (light-headness problems), my stability is getting close to pre-op levels, I sleep 8 - 9 hours a night with very few naps, I am attending more of our RV park's activities, and my eating is getting better (down to 210 - 220 lbs). That's down from a high of 335 before my surgeries in 2019.
We'll be returning to Indiana mid-April and would love to meet with mutant friends that are traveling a little north of Indy. We hope to meet with Di and Larry before we head north. Met with Dave and Sherry along with Carl (Bokobird) quite recently.
We appreciate the love and caring that has been expressed thru this strenuous period of time. We forward to 15 - 20 more years of marriage (this June we celebrate our 55th anniversary).
God Bless You and your loved ones. "Keep the shiny side up".

Thanks for the update Papaw Steve! It’s good to hear that you’re back on the mend and your new svelte profile must be amazing!
