Criminy, Timster! In my circles we do our knees in from clogging. What's your excuse?

Nevermind, don't answer that if it will incriminate yourself!
Well I’ve been working on a good story with all the campers passing by our site.
Runner up is story 1 where the knee got between the bull and the gate post, then story 2 is where an old football injury has come back to haunt me and story 3 is where I threw out the knee kicking butts on all these GKs. One of the pastors and his family spent the day with us Friday (he’s my sons age) said after being around all the kids along with his two, that story 3 was the most believable one.

The truth is the knee just wore out. Suppose to be a quick easy surgery and recovery the problem is having to wait a month to get er done!

Tim,

Are you getting the titanium replacement model or just a knee tune up? I had both of mine replaced 5 weeks before the first ever GC at Catherine’s Landing.

The key to getting back your life after surgery is to keep your recliner time to a minimum. Set realistic goals for how much you walk and exercise, then stick to them. I hated using a walker, but forearm crutches gave me good stability, especially in tight spaces like my motorhome. One big mistake I make was not switching out which leg stepped first. Because I’m left footed I typically step out with it first. That was great for my left knee, but my right knee was weeks behind in recovering strength and mobility. Best wishes for your procedure.

Dear Tim,
Losing 50 pounds will relieve a lot of pressure on that knee. Probably that is what happened to wear it out.

Now instead of the peas, drop 3 or 4 ice cubes in a glass and pour in some Wild Turkey American Honey whiskey on top of the ice. About 4 or 5 glasses will relieve the pain considerably. Just don't go swimming with the kids and for gosh sake stay off of any tractors.

Wow, you have to wait so long for the operation that takes 20 to 30 minutes. When I was having my problem, I like you had the MRI, and when I returned to my doctor he asked me if I wanted it done the next Tuesday. That was on a Thursday.

p.s.., After that 4th glass if Wild Turkey don't go on any "eyeball liberty," or Mary will fix that knee with a knot on you head!!

No, if you remember correctly, I had the blackstone sitting over that sewer when I cooked your smashburgers. You said you liked them. Good seasoning flavor.

Just a orthroscopic repair. I removed all those comments about staying out of recliner just in case Mary reads any of this!

If he would stop talking it would be a big improvement.

p.s., We are in Bugscuffle, TX for 3 days. (Look it up. First cemetery with a stop sign.)
