Try as I might, it's a long journey for an un-retired guy on holidays.

2300 miles one way.

Evenin Muteys!

Once again I've been busy all day you STM's run amuck and I have multiple pages to catch up on. Steve we are definitely tucked in and ready for the cold air which has already started over here. Went from 59 to 39 in bout an hour and that north wind is blowin!

Wayne you know better! I don't chase Barb.... It's usually her chasing me with a frying pan or rolling pin. Good thing I can still move faster than her.

Barb thanks for the countdown to GC@CL. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who can't wait. Should we be like the New Years Eve Ball and countdown every day?

This, for us, is a great way to start the new year.

So , so happy to read that! Whoopee!

Don't worry Les, our top notch negotiator is in contact with your employer as we speak. I expect any minute it will be worked out giving you ample time to traverse this distance OR you'll be fired, either way you'll have time to make the trip.

I know you were asking Les that question Herb, but I thought I'd add my 2 cents. My daughter lives in Seattle and I'm either there or at friends on the north side of the border with Oregon, just 30 miles west of I-5.

We can chat about doing lunch or something when we're at the GC@CL. There's another RVM in Camas, WA not far from Portland and then there's Possum NW of Seattle a piece. We could have a midi curiosity.

Hey Barb - the fog lifted again! Gonna be a great year!

Btw - for those with iPhones or pads that may present problems with drop down menus - the GC @ CL Itinerary is here:

Thanks for the link Steve! I needed that!

Yes, the fog seems to lift about 3 hours after sunset so it can get good and cold here overnight. But no worries, we are warm and toasty in our cubbyhole.

After looking at the itinerary that Steve posted, Thanks! RVM2, it seems that either Friday or Tuesday afternoon would be the best day to go flying thru the trees.

I count Sue, Earline, Jeff and myself so far. Anyone else who ain't chicken? Check out the website

Home | Zip Lines Ouachita Bend

and see how many zips you want to take and let's see about making tentative reservations. I'd be bummed if I didn't get to go because they were booked.

We only have 112 more days to get this all ironed out and it's gonna be a very busy week. I've just decided to go in on 4/22 so I can be settled and organized before Day 1 begins.

Thats still about a solid 3.5 long days drive.

You know my boss! 3.5 long days drive would be a hard sell to my boss!

A mini Curiosity would work. Slickest1 also lives just north of the BC border
