According to the news, New England is going to get a lot of snow.
I'm betting the regional supply of the ingredients for french toast are soon to be, if not already, DEPLETED

Sounds like it might be time again for the Gillette Stadium snow sweeper for the field goal kicker. The cheating might be supervised this year.

Sorry about that. Nothing at Gillette Stadium surprises a Colts fan. Seems like the regular season schedule always had us play THERE. Rivalries run deep.

Sorry, I copied and pasted. Should have highlighted the quote.

New topic. My physical condition limits me to sitting an watching; enjoying the fire and conversation. So I'll bring 4 chairs to the GC@CL. two for our patio at our lot and two to remain around the fire pit.

Count me in for $50 towards a delivery of firewood. Sounds like we might need 2 places for camp fires.

Will a sign up sheet for breakfast and dinner side dishes be available before our departure from home? Do each us need to chip in for the main dishes on the BBQ grill? Let us know.

Really should be a goooooooood time around camp fire.

I'll play the spoons; who plays the jug? I have a washboard and some thimbles, too...who plays those?

Cheers!

Hey to the gang in the Northwest we will be up there in August but I don't know when yet. Waiting on the dates of our twin granddaughters ASA Nationals in San Diego then up the coast hwy to Seattle. Will definitely discuss at GC with Barb and others interested in a midi curiosity in August.

I have already told Steve that Barb and I will contribute the value of our lot toward purchase of food for group dinners ie. meat or whatever. Our lot was comped by CL so we can pony up first before anyone else needs to contribute for food wood or other needs. As for camp fires the Pavillion we have is pretty large with multiple fire rings if I remember correctly.

I'm thinking we may go up early as well to get set up so we can do grunt work for the GC and besides that Wayne and Earlene are going up early and Earlene needs me to help Wayne get there in one piece without .... Oh nevermind.

got a fast response back from the zipline company....
"There is not much hiking with the 2 zips, but there is some. The grade is long, rather than steep. The majority of people do not have any trouble with those hikes, but some with underlying problems have had, so I can't tell you for sure whether or not it would be a problem. Be aware that we are by reservation only, and we are not open every day.

Feel free to call me to discuss the hiking and your options. 501-318-3711. I look forward to hearing from you.

Happy New Year.

Cindy"

Thanks Marty, I intended to call today, but by the time I looked up it was after 5 in your time zone. It's hard to call east when you're a night owl on Pacific time. We sleep late and that makes for a short window to call.

Gonna talk to DH and see if he is interested in it... we aren't bringing a toad, so would probably need a ride to it or else break camp to go to it (not awful when short but still a bit inconvenient... but then we inconvenience others for a ride...).

GC@CL Zip Line sign ups

Hey Y'all,

I have volunteered to handle the sign up for the zip line side trip for the GC@CL. If you, or anyone traveling with you is interested in zipping thru the forest please email or PM me. I need to know who, 2, 3 or 7 zips and which day -- Tuesday or Friday, you would be most interested in attending. I'll get more info tomorrow.

With Stephanie, we can stay 1 - 2 days if we want to.
We're game to come south of the border. Wouldn't want Sena to become a homeless monkey. BTW did you ever have dealings with Destinations Plus in NY State? The company is owned by our best man and bridesmaid when we made the kids legal.

That's OK you get a better product out of Northern Ontario or Quebec, anyway.

Hmm, you might think there is a conspiracy afoot, but I can assure you that there absolutely is
