Changing subject!
Chris mentioned when he stopped in that the Mississippi River was down. World news did a story showing many docks with boats in slips, setting completely out of water! I’ve seen the Arkansas river pretty low but never the Mississippi!
Sources say they heard a Northeastern puddle jumper was coming through and due to his retired state and age they were afraid he couldn’t jump very far!
Unlike the Marines who simple use the bridge!

Apropos the Mississippi, Sue and I spent a couple of days near Keokuk IA, last month to celebrate our 30th. On the river there is Lock & Dam 19 and we spent a while there watching the traffic. Later, Sue found a live cam on YouTube of the lock where you can watch the traffic from your recliner. Not a lot of action but it does make nice wallpaper. There was some excitement though when some barges broke away from the tow (pusher really) on entry from the north. It took a while to sort that out.

Wayne since the first two games of the World Series is in Houston, and I’ve already winterized The Discovery we thought we’d just stay in your spare room. Think you could have Earlene whoop us up a few meals so stock up your fridge oh and drop over to the field and pick up some tickets, we like to set behind home plate. Ok so thanks, your the best!

I'm going to bill y'all for the tickets. Seating is premium. Viewing is on a 55" LG TV. Food is optional depending on which take-out you desire and how much money you have with you. Driveway will not be wide enough in the short time frame for first game so first come, first plug in. Neighbors may complain of others in the street.
Tickets will be half price of stadium tickets.
Earlene's cooking comes with a big price tag.
