Ok Tim, and Steve. It is cold and windy, but warmer than in arkansas.... I keep that area on my ipad weather app too. Light snow inland, only a tiny bit of ice on the cars, but they have closed ALL of the bridges, cause most are metal. The neatest thing is the steam coming off of the gulf water.... And the weather announcers are going bonkers...
Friday back up to 62 then 70 the rest of the weekend.

Sue, you are right it is warmer where you are, but this trip we were escaping the cold as much as just wanted to park where we can see the waves.....

Oh Diane, I just have to ask. Which 39th birthday was that?

Thanks Wayne, for making Sena and I the poster children for the name tags. They are beautiful! BTW -- Oklahoma is just where I was when I joined IRV2 almost 3 years ago. I guess it's time to update my profile.

At first I agreed about the size of the name, but I don't think it will be long before we know each other in the flesh. Getting up close and personal to read the name won't be an issue, especially for you and Herb. We'll only really need them the first day and at group meals. We don't want strangers waltzing in and getting in line for one of our many feasts.

Oh, and if you haven't printed Sena's yet -- save the ink. She won't wear one. I doubt anyone will need to read a name tag to know who she is -- being the only member of her species present.

BTW Sena's name is pronounced SEEN-nah and rhymes with Tina. If you don't pronounce it correctly, she won't mind. She'll just ignore you.

The lanyards will be red-white-blue with a swivel hook. The name tags have exactly the same information on both sides. The swivel will allow it to flop around and still be readable - up close and personal - with glasses. Hee hee.
Super job Wayne - - These tags will be of sooooooo much help at CG@CL. I hope that the print is large enough for my feeble eyes. I hate to be accused of uggling someone's chest when I'm simply trying to see their name. LOL Again, thanx for efforts.

We are back in Yuma with Gwen after a couple of days in a Cummins shop in Blythe, CA. Nothing serious, but lets say I did not sleep well. Day 2 was installation of the ordered CCV filter. Left with a fully updated CCM, and all on the dealers tab, so all is good on the rainbow.

Now, to find places for all of our stuff in the oh so many places inside of Gwen. Fun!

And now, some pictorial comments for you STMs.

On to the GC!

Ok, just had a great idea, you know being a idea person is important! Looking at the example name tag it shows them to be long and thin.(I know they'll be trimmed down). But we could leave them long enough to be worn around our heads like Willie on Duck Dynasty. If we position the printed info center on forehead we will be able to read and look the person in the eyes at the same time!

This idea could sweep the nation, business meetings everywhere having the new look!

Good morning muteys, it's cold here today, but sunny!

Hmmm! Okay! And for me and Herb, we probably will still be more than arms length away when "real" close to each other.

I' am so happy that you "cleared" up the implants statement with the word "lens."

So let me see if I'm interpreting this correctly. You want me to make the print smaller?

So proud Indeed!
Just before you headed south, I asked of you fished. And was sort of fishing for a fishing partner - perhaps to hire a guide at the GC @ CL... I suppose you have not caught up on reading - so repeating myself. But yes on posting the pic!![/QUOTE]

I WOULD be interested in sharing a fishing guide if the cost is not outrageous. If the cost is no more than $300 for my 1/2, I'm in for a 1/2 day or full day of fun on the water. Maybe the guide has a pontoon and 4 or 5 of us could attack the lake from one platform of craziness. Let me know.

Wayne - - my DW has the same interpretation as you have. However, I stand by my firm belief that I just want to know their name.

I'm a shirt reader too. Seems to me that if someone doesn't want me to stare, they wouldn't wear a shirt with words on it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

It's raining!
It's pouring!
The old man
...just got out of bed!

Uh oh! He reads this thread!

Shuffleboard was cut short this a.m., but I got in a half-hour walk before the rain started. Don't know if you can see them, but there were at least 7 pelicans across the river:

I tried to get closer, but couldn't quite manage that walking on water trick.

Good morning, all!

My local PBS station once had promo shirts printed that said in French: will you listen with me? Pictured was a fully dressed Victorian woman semi-reclined on a fainting couch. Very classy. I won one and wore it.

However, the difference between ecouter (to listen) and ecouchet (to go to bed) is but two letters. Another T-shirt reader leered at me and said he wouldn't mind. A right proper leer, too!

The station didn't print a second run.

Cheers!
Sue

First day????? With my short term memory on the fritz, I won't know who you are until I read your tag 5 or 6 times. No "name quizzes" on day 2, please!!!!!!
