Visited Minneapolis last summer, hit perfect weather. We loved the Segway History tour, easy to do and the most fun we had on the entire three month trip. Minnesota has many interesting sites, we found the tractor show near the Mississippi headwaters a great way to spend the day.

Pets are just that to some. Ours are our fur children. They go where we go and they think we exist to serve them whatever they want whenever they want. No doubt that is our fault but we don't regret it.

As to Yellowstone, We went through Cody on our way in and stayed 1 night at Yellowstone Valley Inn, There is a communal firepit for larger fires, there were smaller fire rings to cook on by campers, but the campers were packed together although getting in and out was easy due to wide roads. Ot much awning room, but we did pull ours out a bit because it was raining and we were going back and forth to the laundry and showers. we were able to pull through with the trailer, but then decded since we had hookups to figue we should put the trailer at the 'front' of our lot and pull in behind it, then when we went to leave, we backed out and ran around to the other side to hook up the trailer. Pretty level.
Inside of Yellowstone, we stayed at Fishing Bridge campground. We used the showers there which were nice enough, Wouldn't of had to but the hose to the 'city' water kept dripping and hubby wouldn't just let that go... still need to trouble shoot that, bought new hose, no difference...fishing bridge also had full hookups, and was central to many things we wanted to see. We did 'day trips' within the Park and went East one day, went NOrthwest another day and south one day. on yet another, we went to Tetons and the last day we ran around, we went back to spots we thought we had missed or were too tuckered the previous days to properly walk around and see. One day we just sat at the swimming beach at the lake and marveled that folks were swimming when the water seemed to cold to us and it was quite windy that day... we waded a bit and sat and read books on the beach and watched the gysers errupt around the lake rim area. Bison wandered through our camp area and were sure the road was for them. General store is within walking distance there. your cost of the site includes the showers at that campground, not sure on the others but they have an excellent website for researching it out...

ahhh... pets... I have plenty, only travel with 2... DH and Bess the dog

I have 2 cats that are mostly outdoors, however, it's been so cold and I'm such a softy I let them in this winter. ( Last winter they had the garage...)
I also have 5 ducks and a gander...Hopefully, the gander and a couple of 'his favorite' ducks will go to my son #3 this spring sometime.

Our dogs we have now, are the best we've ever had. They are family. They really have marvelous ability to understand a lot of words. And the Westie, can figure out what I'm thinking, almost before I think it. It is hard to fool her.

The only good pet rattler is one skinned and worn on a belt or hat band.

Good morning mutants

Seems that the mutants are sleeping in today.

A special shout out to Barb. We all hope that you spent a bearable night and that you enjoyed some rest. Remember the journey is the destination. Our favorite words to live by may not be real appropriate in your present condition. However, an enjoyable journey is not far off.

We hope comfort and healing are yours VERY soon. We hope Sena is behaving and adjusting.
