Been trying to keep my head above all the latest snow. Temps finally getting above freezing so now the worry round here is flooding! Had to knock all the ice off the gutters so my basement stays dry.

So all this talk about Texas going to Arkansas for GC@CL in April makes me feel guilty for living too far away, not being retired, and being generally antisocial.

Just did the research on keeping up with this thread and the results are it takes 2 weeks to read one month's posts.

Barb, haven't seen any of the promised pictures of the new knees yet. Is Sena back to normal (if there is a normal) yet?

This month may be the shortest in days but it's the longest in anticipation. I think I'll have to go to the dealer and spend a few hours sitting in their units then maybe I'll be able to stand a few more weeks till the TT arrives. Did I mention it has slides, never had slides before.

Well, that's about all my ADD will allow me expound on at the moment, back to the shadows...

Anyways, hope everyone is enjoying where your at, what you're doing, and when we all get the chance to start travelling again.

Best Wishes Mutants

So I'm not sure if a burger qualifies as a samwhch or sammich - but my favorite burger comes from New Mexico. The Green Chile Cheeseburger. There is actually a Green Chile Cheeseburger Trail. I think when retirement rolls around and full time mutating begins - we just may take a couple months chasing down the best GCCB in New Mexico.

Judy - I know you have them in parts of Co too. Possibly even in some pats of Az.

Might just write a book - A Mutants Quest to Discover the Greatest Green Chile Cheeseburger on the Planet. I could eat one now! (Half one would fit my diet methinks.)

Any one else?
I get up at 8 a.m. and depart at 9 a.m. or there abouts. We are retired and in no hurry. It's about 325 miles from where Herb is to CL and 6+ a few hours. Daylight savings time starts March 9, 2014 at 2:00 a.m. Plenty of light left in April (not March Herb) to help Tim out. Now if CinCHouse says we are leaving early, well that's a different story.

I think Cart was planning on joining us as well so we could have six mutants Rollin Rollin Rollin Down the River.....oops i mean highway.
If I can make it to bad by 9 p.m. I might make an early run.

First, ya'll have just gotten on the bad side of the Navigator and she will be telling you about it at CL.

Second: We're up to the "N's"??

You are making amends if you are providing lunch on the way.

My definition of a sammich is what you put in your lunchbox. IMHO, a good burger needs to be messy and requires approx. 2lbs. of napkins to eat, therefore burgers are not sammiches.

Hello Muteys,

I am concerned that some of you have yet to fully accept the retired lifestyle. Meaning being up and on the road by 8am or even 9am ??? Good Lord that's early , how can ya even have you'd coffee drank by then ?

See - I knew some might think not....
I'm going with something (meat, veggie, condiment, etc.) between 2 pieces of "bread" (sliced, biscuit, bun, etc) is a sammich. Even the guy at the falafel shop puts falafel, gyro meat, etc in a pita and calls it a sammich.

But I get the distinction. What is a patty melt I wonder?
