A Curiosity of Mutants!

Well, a small one! Suspinz and I found ourselves in the same portion of the Galaxy at the same time and actually managed to meet in Goshen, Indiana. Ted and I were at the F.R.O.G. Rally and Sue and Martin were having some work done on their rig at Thor. We all spent a fine morning talking about everything under the sun, common interests, and are hoping to re-connect in Naples, Fl. next winter. And I assured Sue that two mutants together indeed constitutes a curiosity and with myself.

^^^^ - you and Sue have definitely logged a curiosity. And, to top it off are looking toward the future - which we all know is mutant trait of high order.

I think I may need to call on you two for info and some pictures for the RVM Guide to Spinning While Mutating. Which reminds me - neither have you have posted any of your craftsmutantship. We have met many spinners, loom-ers, quilters, etc on the road over the years. I'm sure a mutant spinning book would be in high demand.

X2 what timarti said! Of course in all the flurry of excitement, none of us took any pictures today. Bawww! Proof absent. Take our word? Do I look honest? Hmmm???

As for the book (w/ illustrious illustrations, of course), we will begin an immediate mutant collaboration.

So here's a photo of some recent spinning while mutating:

This is all cotton yarn spun on a charkha (think Ghandi-ji) and meant for a woven blouse. Next year, while I re-mutate into a weaver and then a seamstress. Whew! Too many hats!

Timarti -- your turn!

Sue - beautiful colors. I unfortunately have no talent, but have great appreciation of those who do and their work. Hat tip!

A collection of photos like this and the next steps and finished work would make an excellent RVM picnic table book.

Thanks - and keep those curiosities coming.

Just mutant lurking....We will be leaving Evansville Ind Aug 12 and pointing the mothership toward the center of our solar curiosity, which mysteriously mutates into the prime source of life, somewhere out over the Pacific horizon.....OK OK, no groaning..... I'm new at this RVMspeakanese. As an Etymologist of some prowess, I am familiar with morphing language but I fear that I have much to learn...Bear/bare with me...your choice

The RVM mutated version uses one of your jalapeño poppers for the green. Just sayin.
