I need to catch up here. My DH told me he saw something on the news about bacon prices going to go up. I think a co-worker's wife with claustrophobia has to drive an Element or she totally freaks out. They must be roomy. Plastic bacon? Is that some kind of mutation of plastic or bacon?

I think someone in the bacon industry got wind of the RV connection between bacon and RVers. Once that connection is made, it's like the last segment of a game show. Dollar values are doubled.

BTW - good morning mutants! Wonder if we'll have another blue light special / run on RVM enrollment today? Be happy and safe out there! The journey is THE destination.

Ironic that today we had the Element at the dealers for routine maintenance. A salesman wandered into the waiting room to ask us if we were willing to sell the car. Said he has a waiting list of people who are looking for Elements. Of course being a car salesman, he was hoping we would buy a new CRV or Pilot and trade the Element.
I think that has become the new standard SOP for salesmen.

I had a 58 English Ford that I stuffed a 301 SB Chevy in it. It originally looked like a 55 Ford Station wagon.

When I was a teenager I worked at the drag strip. The Anglia was a very popular "hot rod". I always wanted one. Wonder if it would make a good toad? Ha!

Supply and demand!

We demand more, so the supply price goes up.

DW cookied a pound this morning along with hash browns and eggs. Yes, but I only had two strips of bacon - until the next time.

Only 2 strips? Amazing self control!

There are classics that would make great toads. I frequently beat myself up over my poor decision to sell my old 62 Ford van. Got it for $300 at a Bell Telephone equipment disposal sale back in 1968. Loved that little van.

It would haul any a lot of weight because I had dump truck rear springs put on it. Rode kinda rough though !!

Our First Mascot

I wanted to share these pics with the mutants, and let you know we are in Sioux Falls, SD. The bad thing is that the coolant reservoir has sprung a leak and I have to figure out how I can get it fixed, why the manufacturer used plastic is beyond me I know they all do, but it just doesnt make sense to me.

Anyway tomorrow is a new day.

Cheers !!!

Sorry to hear about the coolant tank. That is something you can't not have and will miss. You two look amazingly mutated under the circumstances - and as all mutants know - this too shall pass. You will be in a beautiful setting (we love SD) and can't wait to become residents.

Have you named your highly appropriate handsome mascot yet? Perhaps Bucky? No matter - when we pull the RVM Mascot book together, he or she will fit right in!

Sorry about the leaky tank. You will Mutate through the issue.
Fine pics. Wrangler sure looks familiar!
