Yes, IDs of some sort. You think Post-It notes on the forehead won't do the trick? Between this and the T-shirt design, we need a designer, a smarty witty graphic designer. Surely in this magnificent group (did we decide a Curiosity covers the whole collective?), there is at least one. Or someone who knows someone. ???

No designer, me, but I'll ponder on it.

Cheers!

Sue RVM36
We have a neighbor who is a graphic designer and owns a custom t-shirt shop/business. She does custom shirts to order (we use her quite a bit for our customers). Would be willing to approach her with any ideas this august group may have?

As for the IDs, T-shirts and other concessions - the contract for concessionaire is being drawn up and we're accepting designs for all products including RVM approved rope lights.
Took a stroll at a local RV show, did you know that some RV's have LED Rope Lights built into the awnings?....Nooo..

Our favorite campground, a state park at Lake Mead. Primitive and beautiful. It has been closed now for 'upgrading'. Things such as removing the Oleanders and non-native trees, grading, new tables, ets. We are fearful it will never be the same.

Interesting logic concerning removal of the evil oleander trees. Geesh ... What are the park botanists smoking lately?

Just so I know what the oleander is ... I copied this:

"The oleander is one of several desert plants that I recommend for people who want desert shrubs or bushes that are perennial (you need to plant them only once), hardy, low care, relatively drought resistant, easy to find, pretty cheap to buy, and provide lovely color many times during the year."

There it is, in plain English. Must be bad because the plant is not frail, and it can thrive with little to no care. Honestly, I would not know an oleander from a salamander, but now that I have looked over a few pictures, I think they are rather attractive.

There may be a solution for this phenomenon. Slather the clothing with left over bacon grease. Not only will the T-shirts be easy to wiggle into, you have the added advantage of getting more exercise when being chased by dogs, and wild cats.

The leaves are poisonous if you eat them. I was raised with them all around our house and never ate any, even as a baby. Course I had parents who made sure of that. Anyway, now there is a push to eliminate them most everywhere.

I also have them currently in my backyard, had a neighbor complain about them, afraid their kids would climb over my fence to get to them.

At the park these bushes separated the camp sites creating beauty and privacy and required little care and feeding.

.
That gives me an idea. I will invite the neighbor kids over to eat the weeds in my yard. I have an adequate supply of dandelions, buckhorn and the ever popular thistle.

Hi Don and all you other mutants,

I think the T-shirt is a good idea, but the logistics of getting them shipped around could be daunting, I am still going to get some of those sticky letters and numbers and put them on the lower right corner of my MH windshield, RVM 39, so if ya ever see a Beaver in a camp ground with an RVM 39 in the lower right of the windshield ya know it will be me.

My parts are arriving today according to the UPS tracking system, I surely hope so, we have had a wonderful 5 day stay in this park, but we were really done with it after 3 days and are itching to move on. I am thankful we decided to give ourselves a full month to get to Arizona, but I sure didnt plan on spending so much time in Wyoming, such is the journey always adapting to the conditions that are out of our control and making the best of it.

The last RV show that I went to had some newer units that came with built in rope lights, needless to say we had no desire what so ever to even give them a second look.

If by chance we ever get a chance to be involved in a curiosity convention of mutants, I will get out the old Coleman and begin the bacon fry in earnest.

Another ponderance could be; how many pounds of bacon could one fry up on a single filling of the tank and how many ounces of drippings would that create?

Hmmmmmmmm........

Cheers !!!

Being an avid investor, I'm always searching for that little company that produces those yellow and black warning labels. Required by the government so we who are brainless can be safe. If I can invest in the warning label business, I think the profits will increase at least as fast as the government can make new regulations.

Years ago (as in MANY), my small crowd of pals and I would swing on a big grape vine out over a pool in a creek. Not long ago I read a blurb in the local paper where some do-gooder civic activists petitioned the town to cut all trees away from that creek bank and erect signs prohibiting swimming or wading in the creek.

Kids are a lot safer just typing goofy notes on their iPhones for exercise now. Builds great thumb muscles.

( Lights (rope or not) maybe, but no sabers on board. Hey! A duel with rope lights? )

Note to self: Ridged rope lights !!! To be sold at future RVM curiosities ! Since we are mutating exponentially, I could make like a ton of dollars.

WOW a whole new use for a weed burner! Why didn't I think of that? For years I had bins of those things right outside my office. But we just used them to weld tape on pipe, melt frost, and warm engines for cold starts. Never realized they could roast bacon.
