You bet your sweet bippy. Which prior to that - I'm not sure a bippy had ever been seen before. Which is probably why the next saying to come forth was --- Here come the judge!

In Tejas, ever thang is a thang. (Do not confuse with the Kimono Thong in your closet.)

I don't Weber and I don't charcoal, I Q. (Hmm! It's a high one)

Dave, great explanation. Now can you explained this comment from our Northern neighbors, " Lets get together and have a Barbee!"

In Tejas we also say "if'n" as in "If'n ya'll say so."

We are also suspicious - some of others - some of themselves - and some both.

As in - "I'm suspicious of the last comment from the suspicious character Wayne, who is suspicious of everyone including himself."

And no Wayne - before you try to tell me I got it wrong - I checked and it is just as I say it is. I do not like preemptive strikes, by my suspicions run high when it comes to your use of the "corrective post"..... ;laugh:

" I must admit - when posting here with the mutant family - I never think about whether I'm going off track"

You are way ahead of me.

I have trouble keeping up and knowing where the track is.

Perhaps - however.... I have finished a post before - looked at it and realized - uh oh - wrong thread...

Got me there.
In MN we had cookouts. It covered a lot of variables.

But Wayne surely knows. ;-)

Wasn't sure if I needed to go by the meat market or the toy store!

I'm sure they always knew what I was talking about!

Anyone remember the Rock Group in the 70's " Black Oak Arkansas" lead singer Jim Dandy Mangrum?
