I was thinking of borrowing that weather tampering machine the Russians have; you know the one we read about in Conspiracy Theory 101 threads about the internet.

Speaking of Ice Fishing, I may have to get another single malt and a glass.

Our local mountain (Mt Arrowsmith) got hit with a dump yesterday. So cool watching it snow a mile or so up and still be standing in bright sunshine. The shot below was taken from the front steps on our house so we do have glorious scenery way up here too.

QUOTE=virginiamtns;1814313]Update:

After a short conversation with my attorney, all of a sudden the rental car is authorized and so is the repair.
Ah! Relatives as attorneys are nice to have around. I have a son that is an attorney, but I don't hold it against him, much. I like the "free" advice.

I hate having to go this route, but unacceptable is unacceptable. I didn't cause or exacerbate this situation.

I wonder if Enterprise has Jaguars...[/QUOTE]

Well darn! You know that for some unforseen reason the Jag could have been parked where the CRV was. Consider that consequence. Wow! There would be tears on the computer screens in mutantdom.

I have a fear of being caught in a wreck. I'm a volunteer EMT and have seen too many people trapped. I've also seen people die by being ejected without a seatbelt on, so I wear it every time, no exceptions. I carry seatbelt cutters in all of our vehicles (in the sunglass compartment), in the MH (clipped to the curtains) and a rescue knife with window punch and seatbelt cutter in my pocket or on my belt.
Hey, can I travel with you and family?

Don, Thank you so much for running interference. It has become a chore to keep up with Possum breath.

ID:	50398 The solar telescope slants into the mountain 500 feet. We saw sun spots and solar prominences. The big tele is an 84 in monster. The weird pic of us is a demo of infared, which they use via big dish antennae to see stuff that is not visible to the mirror telescopes.

A really grand time, you sick twisted Mutants.

Lesson for non-Texas speaking mutants attending GC @ CL. Last night I stopped my cannel surfing on Storage Wars Texas for a few minutes. One of the good ole boys that looks a lot like Wayne was surveying the locker. "Thars a nice chest. Oh, thars the drawers. A nice Chester Drawers.". I think I went to elementary school with Chester Drawers. Resume channel surfing.

Listen carefully when Texans speak. You may learn sumpin.

I understand it but don't speak it. I can translate if needed at the GC. No charge.

I'm sure it was all the prayers and well wishes from my fellow mutants that did it! Thanks again.

Now to get back to my regularly scheduled Birthday pampering and lounging.

I may be a few days late in sending congrats your way. Birthday? Really? At your age?

I know what you mean about not being able to recoup your money on brass locos. I bought my first one, a Tenshodo 0-8-0 kit (1960?) and then at least one of every Santa Fe model built in brass, except the "Blue Goose" built by Hallmark. My grandaughter wants to know why I have so many locos that look alike but she doesn't understand "it was a good price" Good plastic has destroyed the value of brass collections. If you will remember in the late 50's through the 80's, if it wasn't brass it probably didn't run very well, now the plastic runs better then the brass, looks as good, and doesn't cost near as much.

.
Agreed, but having the old brass or metal loco's still 'feels' better even if the plastic ones are less temperamental.

Responding to another ponderance; My guess for the two tank system among others is a weight issue, with the grey and black tanks mixed and being large enough to accommodate all that it would have to collect it would be just to much to manage. I agree with them being separated simply because there are still places where you can trickle out your grey water even though people frown upon it. Grey water really is good for the grass by the way.

Cheers !!!
Some states still allow the use of gray water for irrigation within certain guidelines.
