Sorry you are freezing.

We have been in the 20's here in Ga. at night and 40-50's in the day.
To me this is perfect daytime weather.
I hate hot weather as I can't breathe well in it.

I usually put on a jacket when it gets into the 30's.
Too bad I do not have yard work this time of year.
I'll just drink my coffee and watch the fireplace.

An early MERRY CHRISTMAS to all.

Enjoy the cup-o-Joe and the fire. Back at ya with the holiday cheer! Hohoho - what a long strange trip it's been!

Good to hear from ya here and many blessings on you, your family and camels. Especially in the health arena.

Cleaned every instance of HP off my desktop and out of the registry and re-installed. HP's print and scan diagnostic and repair SW didn't help. They wanted me to give them access to my computer so they could make changes. That will never happen. He talked me through what he was going to do. Still didn't fix it. I don't need a scanner that often, but still think it should work as designed. I even used the included a USB cable and it still won't see my desktop. After I installed the SW, it took me to a survey page. To my surprise, it even had spaces for comments. I begged someone at HP to please call me... twice.
Hey Dunner we have that same printer and have problems too! It won't see my laptop unless I use USB but it does respond wireless to my iPad... Never could figure that out.

I think I will start referring to you as "Dave Lister" if you don't know why you were never a "RED DWARF" fan. Funniest stuff you ever want to watch on your TV.

I'll have you know that drinking coffee and keeping a close eye on the fireplace is hard work.

I've always wanted to just sit around for the winter but sometimes I let life get in the way.

Merry Christmas to you and all you Mutants who participate and a "Cool Yule" to those so inclined along with Season Greetings to those of other beliefs.

I thought I would include this chart. The first line explains Wayne and his fellow Texans.

So...ok....I apparently didn't ask my question in a format ya'll would understand the info I sought. FB isn't the issue. The question was why he would assume everyone would want a pic of his grandchild? Isn't that the parent's deal? She sent out announcements to those she wanted to have them.

I suppose this is similar to my irk on getting the Christmas letter from people who have nothing to say so they fill the letter up with their adult children's and grandkids accomplishments. ( of which I usually already know about if I care about those folks enough to keep up on their activities)

OK..geesh...I think I see the problem.... I think I am a scrooge! Lol!

I have asked for a Cost Benefit Analysis as well. Not sure this project will be funded.

After reading the posts here it seems that if mutant family members are using FB the value of the r—2 rises to a level of significance with the correlation coefficient > .90. The addition of the rope light variable is suspected to be statistically insignificant. Let's see what our team of experts comes up with and if the study goes forward, I'll report back.

Marty,

To me it just shows his level of pride in this marvelous event. It might be best if the pic was of the 3 of you, and not just the baby, but anyway is fine.

I agree with ya on the letters. I rarely read them and blame my failing memory if they later refer to something written.

I'm sticking with no harm no foul on the pic.

This year I think I may do my first Christmas Letter.
It will read as follows.

Dear friends and family. This year we made 63 new friends. They are like family to us. Here's what we've been up to...
Snip - R U an RV Mutant Too - post 1 - 7,xxx - End Snip.

All I want for Christmas is a RVM#, please......

Having just gotten off this really great website (RV Mutants
Welcome to the Rainbow Where the Journey is the Destination), and having had a great email from Steve, I definitely would like a number please......

DH and I say this almost every day, whether we are in the rv or not.... We were both previously married and divorced, then met on a great online dating site... Not so long ago..... We both had health issues, but both like to travel.... Both had rv's in previous life, so when we retired... We went for it.... Entry level classA dp, 20,000 or so miles later, with no plans or reservations for 95% of the time, we have been to 40 states, i think..... Key West, niagara Falls, oregon, but with Arkansas being centeally located it has been easy.... Every day is a bonus day in our lives, an extra day together.... DH, Larry, is retired military, 100% DAV, from Baltimore, i am retired educator from small town Arkansas......

We spend a lot of time adding to our mobile condo, but what do I NOT have? No outside tv, no on the outside kitchen.... Although i am a great cook.... No MORE bike racks, after crunching them backing up. No inside booth, i am a watercolor artist, have you ever tried to do anything in those things....lol... There are lots more things i am sure, but truthfully, i dont know what they are, cause I am happy with all that we do have.... Yes DH, i really am.... Smile....

Thanks Steve, Btw Hot Springs is a great place......

It's probably using the wireless part of the laptop. If you can turn if off, do so and see if it still works.

I don't think I will get a call back from Tech Support. Mine won't work with the USB cable directly plugged into my desktop. Maybe if I make a cable that goes directly into my router Ethernet port it would work. Don't know.

I tried my Canon All-in-One and it scans fine wireless.

BTW, the desktop does not have a wireless card, but it is connected directly to my router > modem > wall.
