Don - you are so right. Been a good while since "tales from Dunners Attic" first aired. Afraid Mike and Frank with have their hands full with our Mike. They will probably end up leaving their van at his place and walking home to Iowa broke.

Also forgot visiting your Jalapeño Popper Emporium.

Mavericks - runs a little long - at least watch the first wave and see the rainbow. Stop when you've had enough.

Diwizi: ....heading south after the holiday....
~~~~~~
Suspinz: Where to? Comin' our way? (SW FL). (Barb & Sena @ Lily :wavy: had to fink out on me! :wavy: Oh well. Roll on GC@CL!)
~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~
Diwizi: ....I feel like such a newbie. lol.. ....
~~~~~~~~~~
Suspinz: yeh but you are! Nuthin' wrong with that. When it's bad is when you've been here as long as I have and still mix up the facts!
~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~

Diwizi: I havent gotten into the yahoo group cause my yahoo password is deactivated and it tells me i gave to use a real computer to update, not a mobile
~~~~~~~~~
Suspinz: I often have trouble with them. A friend calls them Yapookie for the same reason.
I'm done; bedtime for these old muscles. Walking and biking are taking their toll before the Good kicks in. Got a Poker Walk to do in the morning.
Cheers!
Diane, will yahoo let you sign up as a new member via mobile? If so, just sign on, activate your membership and never use that email acct again. I can have it send the list emails to any address. If you need me to send another invite, just PM me.
They suggest that anyone travelling in the current icy conditions should ensure they have the following:
Shovel
Blankets or sleeping bag
Extra clothing including hat and gloves
24 hours worth of food
De-Icer
Rock Salt
Flashlight with spare batteries
Road Flares or Reflective Triangles
Full gas Can
First Aid Kit
Booster cables
I looked like an idiot on the bus this morning!
Huh? So what's new?
Ah! The mini-curiosity happened again. Don and Sandee stopped by for some chit-chat and then of to a nice Taquaria for some good food. Then after it was back to the house for desert.
Pictures were taken to prove the curiosity and I'll let Don post the better ones.
Earlene and I enjoyed their company and look forward to seeing them again at the GC@CL, or sooner.
Herb, I never touched a curb. However, at the restaurant I gave Don a bath, albeit a long needed one but it was ice water and not hot water. Can you say Klutz!
I had to tell or it may not have been divulged "truthfully." Hee hee!
Wayne and Earlene were grand hosts! Enjoyed the visit immensely. Even found that we had a minor military connection back in 1974.
Proof in no particular order.
Nice!
Let me guess. In 1974 Wayne spilled chocolate milk on you in the chow hall.
p.s., I'm the good looking and intelligent looking one sitting on the right as you look at the picture.
Just want to get that straight. Right Herb & Don?
Nope! I don't particularly care for chocolate.
Don was involved in a military exercise called "Solid Shield," working a Microwave system (AN/TRC-97), I believe. I was stationed in Norfolk at the CinCLantFlt ElintCenter and I wrote the Electronic Order of Battle for '74, 75, and 76 for the Solid Shield exercises. Anyhow, we were involved in the same exercise and now we know each other. So there. No chocolate milk was killed, nor chocolate cows that give chocolate milk. And don't forget for this Christmas season Steve, you get eggnog from milking a chicken. Try it.
Entered into the RVM it's a small world compendium!
The Air Force had the coldest milk on the planet - just shy of ice. The chocolate milk was practically a milkshake. My time was brief - never involved in any exercises. (Still avoid exercises.) Just sat in the dark and told pilots hello and goodbye. And of course drank lots of frosty chocolate milk.
What's with the "Killer" look in the third picture? Got me thinking: "What ever it was I did, I won't ever do it again, promise.
Dang, if that's all there is to being an Air Traffic Controller, I should have signed up. I'm not scared of the dark, learned Hello and Goodbye when I was 2, and I could have learned to drink chocolate milk -- although I much prefer Dr Pepper.
Sounds like a GREAT job!
