Well maybe we have waken from hibernation (- 40 *F last week sent me scurrying back to my den PDQ and where else to go in the cold but to iRV2 where so many have escaped to warmer climes ... just the ' illusion' of heat gave promise that better days were ahead .... we were just into our long winters nap when awakened by the extreme cold and there seems to be such fun going on elsewhere why sleep indeed

I have found that a cold lasts about 7 days, but if you take cold pills it only lasts a week!

Rope lights are decorations. Some hang ours from the awning. Others would throw them in the campfire (blasphemy if you ask me). Mine are little travel trailers and flamingos. Good luck outfitting your new baby.

Aspirin also makes a great birth control pill. 100% effective. The woman just takes one aspirin and holds it between her knees.

My oh my, the impending winter solstice must be playing havoc with mutant minds. Looks like we may have a season to remember. Grab some and watch the funny happen.

Winter solstice, nice to put behind us and see the days grow longer once again. My theory is the Canadian RVers have lots of inside time so are seeking like minded mutants, this time of year.
Diane, our Westie is the best dog we ever had. She is nearly 10 years old, and she has so much personality, we were going to get another. I happened into a pet shop next to the hair salon, while waiting for my hair to dry. Found our Sadie there, she had been in a crate for 12 weeks. We had her for nearly a month, before she figured out how to play, and be a puppy. Now we know you aren't supposed to buy from pet shops as it encourages puppy mills, but that little pup needed rescuing. And at 5 years is a totally loving sweet girl. Her mom is Westie and dad is Yorkie.
Thanks for tips on saving long winded posts.

It's that way on the iPhone too - and handy. But ya have to go to Who's Online to see the list of is online elsewhere in the forum. It's handy too but nice on the laptop to see the little list of who is online in the thread you're in, including 3 guests (non-iRV2 members). Since I mostly use the iPhone I miss out on that feature most of the time.

Btw - what month does the Big Red Bucket Rattlesnake Roundup open for business?

Ha, you Texans, someone left the rain running! Can you turn it off? please! The animals are lining up in pairs.

Only good news is the cold air is making it down also, otherwise thunderstorms from TX on top of warm air stirs up tornados.

Good morning old and new mutants and I guess I could say old and young as well! Been banished from the house, 5 or 6 ladies will converge in shortly turning this place into Christmas Candy central. Over the years I've learned to stand clear. When this bunch is cooking they are all business. I'll check back later!
