Flaggship. Did you get your flu shot this year? If not I urge you to next year. You're right the H1N1 isn't to be fooled with. It and it's mutations can be very dangerous. I know the wisdom of getting a flu shot is hotly debated, but at my age, I won't take the chance. A dear friend won't take any preventative shot, but if he gets sick he'd let the Doc inject raw diesel fuel if would cure him. His logic escapes me.
On a happier note, we have a serious buyer for our trawler, so may soon join y'all in Mutant Land. Getting a bit maudlin and a little nervous about the change, but 10 yrs on the boat is enough for now. Looking forward to new adventures. Going to Tampa Super Show to begin the process. Wish us luck, and take care of yourself. See you on the Rainbow soon!!??

We probably have a quartet by now.

Get well.

Darn temperature here got down to 32 last evening. I wish it were up to 70 again, but we are going to be close.

For some reason the picture is not posting so:

7th 46 degrees
8th 62 degrees
9th 68 degrees
10th 69 degrees
11th 67 degrees.

Hurry up Spring. Oh, that is Spring weather for some.

Thanks PT. He's looked at the boat Three times, and his Wife four times. Brought the daughter over to make sure she liked her stateroom. Wants to put the down in a non-refundable escrow account (pending survey which I'm not worried about), hold closing till April (his condo lease is up then), and we can stay aboard till then. That will make shopping for the RV easier. Won't make the GC this year, but that will give a goal for next year!! Thanks for the positive vibes. If we get this done, the first cold one is one me at the Rainbow start point!! 🍺

Wow! This is the beauty part about our state. Back when I had my jeep I never thought about doing an activity like this. Of course I wouldn't be able to pull it easily behind my MH either.....so there's the trade off.

Thanks for sharing your pics!

It has been just over 32 here in this part of Canada for the last week. Kinda hovering around the freezing mark but just above.

Wishing you well and great luck with the sale but the CG has yurts and the rainbow does need more yurts users.

Ain't jeeps supposed to be dusty and scratchy. I keep telling my DW they are so lets not get too carried away about them being for normal city driving eh?

I just got this in the mail and maybe we should recommend #5 to #2 for the cure

Home remedies that really work
I checked these out on Snopes and it's for real!

1. AVOID CUTTING YOURSELF WHEN SLICING VEGETABLES BY GETTING
SOMEONE ELSE TO HOLD THE VEGETABLES WHILE YOU CHOP.

2. AVOID ARGUMENTS WITH THE FEMALES ABOUT LIFTING THE TOILET
SEAT BY USING THE SINK.

3. FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SUFFERERS ~ SIMPLY CUT YOURSELF
AND BLEED FOR A FEW MINUTES, THUS REDUCING THE PRESSURE ON
YOUR VEINS. REMEMBER TO USE A TIMER.

4. A MOUSE TRAP PLACED ON TOP OF YOUR ALARM CLOCK WILL PREVENT
YOU FROM ROLLING OVER AND GOING BACK TO SLEEP AFTER YOU HIT
THE SNOOZE BUTTON.

5. IF YOU HAVE A BAD COUGH, TAKE A LARGE DOSE OF LAXATIVES.
THEN YOU'LL BE AFRAID TO COUGH.

6. YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE.
IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40.
IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

7. IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN
ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

DAILY THOUGHT:

SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES -
NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING
BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR
FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

Yeah, Wayne, but Spring weather on the Texas gulf coast is rapidly followed by summer, AKA, sweat box weather. You remember -- those days where there is more water coming out of your pores than you can possibly take in. Your clothes are never dry and you have to wear a sweatband to keep it out of your eyes.

That's when being an RVer makes sense. Bail out of TC and head north.

Great news! I was at the Tampa show last year and there was tons of really useful RV stuff. I'm jealous! Don't buy anything without checking prices elsewhere. "Show specials" may not be bargains. I learned that one the hard way.

I always tell the truth about Texas weather. That is, we have two weeks of winter, but it is a day here and a day there that accumulates to two weeks. Same for Spring.

We usually are SummerBirds and fly North during May, June, July and August. Sometimes we wish we had stayed gone for September and left in April.

So true about water and pores. I have some old dishtowels in the garage and I tie one around my head when I'm outside. It absorbs more and keeps the drip an inch away from the skin.

i would love to see how you turn yourself inside out to accomplish this 1 inch of separation.

Are you and Earlene headed to the Pacific Northwet this summer?

News Flash, just in this photograph from the Hamburg New York area, can be yours for a very paltry sum plus shipping and handling.
