Have you ever noticed that everything breaded and deep fried tastes the same? And if you dip it into a sauce, all you taste is sauce?

Fried okra I can do, the slimy boiled stuff gags me. Have you ever seen hagfish or slime eels? That's what boiled okra makes me think I'm eating. Bluu, 'cuse me. BRB

I happened across someone swearing that is you cut okra pods tops and bottoms off and set(loosely packed) them upright in a glass and filled the glass with water and let it set overnight, then in the AM drink the water next night repeat... don't know how many nights as I was already gagging./... that it would cure diabetes.
I think it might kill me first. ( from choking on the gagged stuff..)

Health benefits of Okra

The pods are among the very low calorie vegetables. They provide just 30 calories per 100 g besides containing no saturated fats or cholesterol.
