At the rate we're going and with #2 feeling better, we could reach that in only a few days. Nothing gets #2 feeling better than a new mutant.

Welcome Daveandcarol!

Dave & Carol,

Welcome to the 'Dom.

Your assignment, should you accept it, is to read all previous posts behind 9691.

Then do a book report! Hee hee!

If it is on a Fruit or Vegetable is it really hair - despite the practice of calling it hair?

If you shave the peaches fuzz, will it become a beard?

Inquiring mutants want to know.

So many other mutants were under the weather - I hope you are all feeling better.

For those of you who had flu shots or are going to because it hit me so hard - I commend you. I hope you have no issues. If there is a chance it keeps you from going through what I did (and am with this respiratory thing) it will be worth it.

The news tonight reported 29 flu deaths in DFW this season. That is 29 too many in 2014. This is not some remote corner of the world. Also reported - DFW is running out / low on Tamilflu.

I've heard that is just a myth.

There is a cadre of RVMs that feels a lot better that you have an end to your battle in sight, and hope that Doc1 and Doc2 can make a sooner-than-later finito to this CRUD.

K?
Are you claiming Steve is a paradox?

Hello.

As much as I am enjoying this vibrant discussion of foodstuffs and respiratory diseases, I am interrupting (politely) to say "Hi".

I really enjoy this group & would love to meet some of you sometime, you all sound like a lot of fun. I would like to request membership but I don't believe I have 'mutated' enough yet. Carol & I bought our rig last April with the idea of full-timing around the country when I retire (under the assumption that someday I actually can). We managed 3 whole weekend trips last year before we had to winterize & cover. I am still trying to decide what I don't have that I DO need, let alone what I don't. However, I can agree with the idea that the journey can be the destination. Now, my 2 cents:

Okra, had fried, still no thanks.
Grits, still working on that.
Bacon, definite yes.
Sweet & Spicy Bacon Chicken, gonna try that.
Flu shot, never got one, didn't get the flu either.
Rope lights, no thanks, have a string set with flamingos...

Dave
Hello back and Howdee
If those flamingos light up then you're my hero.

I laughed so hard my sides hurt when barb made that comment. You could not believe the restraint I showed.

It's clear to me that I am not a green bean, nor okra, nor peach.

Bacon has no hair. I am BACON! (Dont look at me with those hungry eyes, Dunner)
