The Houston RV show is going to be Feb 5 - 9, which is three weekends away. I wonder if they will let us overnight on the parking lot if we agree not to pull our dump valves. Since I won't be buying, I can probably get all of my looking and idea stealing done in two days. I always take a clipboard so I can sketch and write down ideas that may or may not come to fruition.
Maybe some of us can get together and swap lies.

Well for those that were watching you want believe how I pulled off the 10k post. Early this morning I checked in before leaving the house and there was over 20 post yet to go so I figured that would go quick once everyone had coffee. While in woods I checked with my phone once I got a signal, just to see who made the big post but on my phone it doesn't give the post count and I didn't have signal long enough to read all the post. Finally made it home, tired and dirty, plopped down in chair and picked up IPad. Started reading where I had left off expecting a big buildup as conversation grew through out the day. When I reached the last post it was 9999 and just as my earlier mathematical equation said 10k came next.
Another words, pure luck!
I do feel its a honor much like Don's ponder, seems the Cape Crew is doing there part!

Evenin Muteys!
Wow can't blink your eyes with this group or you will get blown over. The closer we got to the magic number like a deer in the headlight the faster the post came in a flurry. Vrooom we blew right past it. So let's see:
10k Posts in less than a year
First ever GC in less than a year
Newsletter in less than a year
Website or actually two counting yahoo in less than a year
Hmmmmmm so what's next? Bring on the necessary new mutants so we can hit the big 100! Anybody venture a guess when that will happen?
31 out (actually lurking in the shadows)

Sunset
I like sunsets.... Not sunrises... Too retired to get up, but a good sunset is as good to me as a rainbow. Yesterday there was a double rainbow, but i had no camera or phone to capture it.
And Steve, both Sue and I paint in watercolor, doesnt take as long to dry...

Ok, so post 10,000 happen on 1/20/2014 at 4:13 RVM Central standard time while I had my mouth open trying on my new night guard. Dang! I missed it.
OK only 74 days until our next milestone, -- the first anniversary of RVMdom followed 10 short days later by The GC@CL If you haven't decided whether you wanna go, ARE YOU NUTS??? Of course you do. This will be the party of the century.
Earlier Steve posted "The Journey is INDEED the Destination!" To which I can only add, and what a long, (10,000 post) strange journey it has been.
I raise my glass to all RV Mutants, declared and yet to declare. Here's to all of you, my friends. May your days be filled with good health and your journeys be plentiful, trouble free and filled with joy. Salut

Well, Barb, Steve and I were the ones that started "the show", and I had some fairly good moments of sage advice and fairly acceptable ponderances, but then there were more and more RVMs with music and poetry and awesome sage advice and amazing ponderances. And after the first few months, all I could do is mostly take pause, and let the STMs of RVMdom thrill me with their contributions to this thread.
I was once a bit more unique, until y'all came into the fold. I enjoy the posts made here so very much!
I thank you all, and bow to what I hinted at, what Steve introduced to the world, and to all of you SICK TWISTED MUTANTS that make is so darn much fun.
End of my driveling.
Dave
