Believe it or not - we did just that. I know - hard to believe right. They don't have a stove in the kitchen yet either. Apparently one wouldn't fit in the space that was built for it. There is a microwave. But the kitchen is attached to the office and they haven't walled it off for private use yet. We will be using the pavilion. I'm going on what I was told and haven't seen it. Tim and Christy at CL have both indicated about 5 separate outlets at the Pavilion. A couple power strips will be in order me thinks.

I am thinking about making a sandwich though. Any advice on how to proceed?

Shssssss, I think we have lurkers. Join in we may be mutants but we are friendly.

Steve bout time for a selflish enrollment drive!

Yes friends if your coach doesn't have something and you don't miss it you could be a mutant!

If your Journey is your Destination, you could be a mutant.

If both of these apply, you are a mutant and just don't know it!

Getting better

My back is much better. I took the fur-girls for a romp on the beach and in the water at Morro Bay today with nary a twinge. But I'm being careful because I'm right at that 'oops, did it again' stage.

De-skunkify:
An acquaintance of ours trains search & rescue dogs and they get skunked fairly often. She uses a mixture of Dawn dish washing liquid, hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and water. Works good but keep it out of the dogs eyes & nose.

I've been told working a toothbrush around with toothpaste works pretty good around the eyes and nose for that... you will still smell it if they got it in the face, but it will help.

Yes, the ottomans are given a backward flip at lights-out.

Thanks! I have not been chided on rope lights for quite a while. :-)

Well now I'm on the sick list.

Came on a day or two ago and now full blown snotty nose, sore throat and achy.

DW is following in my footsteps.

I see a few of my favourite Hot Rums in my future tonight!

Attention all RVM mascots!

Rocky was a bit soiled after all these years, so I gave him a bath. Suddenly, a potato fell out of the sack and rolled along up next to Rocky!

What is a parent to do?

Start with some bread. If you need more instructions, holler.

Hi, Mutants:

I'm an NREMT-E, and I can tell you this - CPR is easy, and nothing fancy is needed. Knowing how can save a life. If you've ever taken CPR, use the same hand position and do 100 compressions a minute. No rescue breathing, just compressions. 100 a minute equates to the rhythm of "Staying Alive" (BeeGees, anyone?). If you've never taken CPR, do yourself a favor and take the class. It also includes how to help someone who is choking. Find out if someone in the area has an AED - campground, store, etc. AEDs make a huge difference in successful outcomes. I'm saving my pennies to carry one on my rig. I carry a complete jump bag when we travel. You'd be surprised how many times I've had to use it.

On the same subject, carry baby aspirin (81mg) or regular strength (325mg) aspirin with you. At the first inkling that you may be having a heart attack, chew 4 baby aspirin or one adult aspirin. It may save your life, and costs less than a dollar. Hint - the baby aspirin tastes better. Symptoms for a woman may be very different than those of a man, so do some internet research and learn the warning signs.

Driving the coach - Mary drove it 50 feet during our test drive and said that was enough. She is a reluctant driver at best, even in our cars, so I don't push the point. If I got sick, we'd have to hire a driver or park it somewhere and come back for it. I'm not going to worry - if it happens, we'll deal with it.

Muddypaws, thanks for helping that lady deal with her loss and for thinking about her little dog.

On a lighter note, Mary finished her taxes. Sing with me - Oh, happy day! Refund's on the way!

Have a great Friday evening, mutant brethren.
Great info in your post. Your advice is spot on!! My wife does not want to drive our rig and says in the event that should happen, she has the toad and would get someone to drive the rig to a storage yard, and deal with it later.
None of us are getting younger so we all should be somewhat prepared.

Meanwhile enjoy the day, life is great.
