There are always exceptions.
You have entered a tread of high IQ, Respectful, Concerned, Intelligent and good looking individuals.
Does a mutant have to have a specific number of these attributes to qualify?
I might have one or two if you use lots of imagination. And that good looking thing is strictly in the eye of the beholder so that only leaves one. I ain't telling which.

Wingennis - We do like the Newmar DutchStar and consider ourselves lucky finding this one but does it really matter as long as the journey is the Destination?
It is rather important: the journey may be more comfortable with Comfort Drive! I, too, feel lucky to have my rig and treat her like a queen. That doesn't mean I can't admire the charms of other great ladies

I am always planning on what to do next and looking towards what will need servicing down the road. I am tinkering with our monster all the time so I guess I am an RV Mutant.
Prior to purchasing we had the progressive surge protector hardwired in. I know I could have done but cutting and trying to wire in a 50 Amp cord is not my idea of fun and besides they had it on sale. My next purchase will be either the tire monitoring system or hitch, base plate and brake system for the new car we have not purchased yet.
Well back to reading a few more of these posts. Thanks for the great thread.

Ah! Grasshopper! Vows say "Love, Honer and Cherish!" Not a darn thing in there about going blind.
First time driving down along the beaches of Waikiki I said to Earlene, "Hold the wheel!" She did. The sights were amazing on the beach. Her words cannot be stated "here." That was back in '65.

My lab had surgery to remove a small mass from his knee 3 weeks ago and was doing fine. Last week started vomiting as labs do from time to time. Took him in today because I was worried about dehydration. Ended up leaving him there: he was admitted with acute kidney failure. If you all have ohms to spare, I would really be grateful for some.

Would you all please stop posting until I finish reading all the posts? Just for a month or two. LOL Well it was just a thought.
Wayne that recipe looks great and the only thing that would top it is if there was a breakfast sausage in there some where.
My wife picked our handle or what ever you call it. Log in name that's it. Anyway, we travel with an Old English Sheepdog and yes she rules the house err RV (the dog that is.). Thus Shaggydog. Did I really say thus?
I wish we had the comfort drive but I think that didn't come out until 2007. We have a 2005. I have heard the comfort drive is amazing but have not taken an actual test drive.
Winneginnis you are a braver man than I am. I also appreciate other rigs but would never refer to them as a woman. Unless that was a man code for something else. LOL
As to the "First Ever Grand Curiosity" sounds like a blast but we will not be able to attend this year. We will be heading for parts unknown at the earliest in June. Ok I will tell you. Sigh just to visit the kids and grandkids in Syracuse, NY. They all are dying to see our new home and try to figure out why we would sell a great stick home for something that moves on wheels.
After that, well who can plan that far in advance. My DW can but I can only agree with a "that's a great idea" and immediately forget what she said. I know I am going to husband hell.
I would love to catch up with u'all down the road to see what other RV Mutants actually look like. You can't mistake me - I have 4 eyes and walk with a distinct limp. Thats because of my hidden 3rd leg.
Happy Rving all.
