39 hours until I get new knees
My surgery is scheduled for7:30am, but I have to be there at 5:45 am, which means we'll leave here at 5 -- about the time I go to sleep some mornings. Since I'm only getting epidural anesthesia I won't even get a good nap. That's OK. It'll be worth every sleepless moment.

Possum (or do I call you Dennis) - hard to say: I'm still stuck here in the cold, don't have the RV yet, it's Monday, etc.
Wingennis - you have all I can give, I understand what it's like and I hate it when our furry friends are suffering.
Wayne - I've heard of lots of ways to cook bacon, that is definitely new to me!

Seems like everytime we have to have some serious something done to our dog, they do blood tests to check her kidneys and liver. They are concerned about the anesthesia, I guess. So it must be hard on them, to be put under. I surely hope your lab has a full and quick recovery. Healing thoughts going your way.

Good luck with your surgery. I've had both knees replaced. If you need an irv2 coach during recovery , please pm me.

Nissa, many OMMMMMMMMs headed towards your lab and the care team that will fix him/her as good as new hopefully.
Shaggy, I had 2 OES back in the 70's. They were really sweet dogs, but dumber than dirt. The grooming required to keep their coats up made me choose another breed after them.

Barb. If there is any way, can your friend let one of us know how you are, and when you are done? We can then post for all.
You can give her my email..... Or number.....

Thanks Cliff! I've been offered other places to recover, but decided our tiny RV will be the easiest. The distance from the bed to the bathroom is inches and the kitchen is just 2 steps away. And, it's home. Nothing feels better than your own bed.

I dare because I AM a woman . Also, I was a Sailor for 12 years-all vessels are referred to as "she".
