Got it strung and tuned on my guitar and been working it over with my fat little fingers. Woohoo!

After 31 years that cast iron skillet tap on the side of my head still brings 'stars' to my eyes too!

Unfortunately I have heard THAT one before but the guy who ran that G-string joke of the flag pool caused me to go blind for a couple days...it was NOT a vision I ever wanted in my head again. Kinda like non-combat related PTSD. Now you come along and open up old wounds...shame on you Tim!
I really hope it was a SHARP G-string!

Does she know your thoughts because her thoughts better be your thoughts? Ya know...I never have an independent thought without the approval of Sandee.

You know it's really bad when your wife starts asking you to do something and before she's half way through her request, you already know what she wants and are on your way to do it.
Happens a lot in my house and I really freak my wife out when it does.

If any of you are interested and want to try a fantastic steak marinade, my wife's recipe for her Flank Steak Marinade is a keeper! It will work on any steak, we have tried it on Sirloins and Rib Eyes as well.
Flank Steak Marinade is as follows:
1 cup extra virgin olive oil, 3/4 cup of soya sauce, preferably sashimi soy. 1-1/2 TBL spoon ginger, 2TBL spoon minced garlic , 1 TBL spoon worchester sauce , finely chopped green onion(maybe 3), 2TBL spoon Dijon mustard . Blend this all together, small processor works great! Stab a piece of flank steak all over, great if your mad at something!!! Drop in a large freezer bag, pour entire contents of marinade in bag and seal. Let sit for at least 24 hours in the fridge, 2 days is best! BBQ first on high to sear both sides (we like a crispy skin) then lower heat to medium till steak is to your preferred tenderness. We like it medium rare. This is a very flavorful marinade and I'm sure you'd like it!
If you use a flank steak, cut at an angle across the grain.

I know what you mean.
We do the same all the time and today it got worse.
DW is a facebook person. I am not.
I came back from the store and she said I want you to take this facebook test. Knew I was in trouble right then.
The test says what state you should be in.
It seems all her friends that were born and raised in Va. took it and
the test said Va.
DW was raised mainly in Va. but spent her first 3 years on Iowa,
but has never been back. Her's came back Iowa.
So I took the test.
I was born in Va. raised in Va. and lived there for 40+ years.
Only other places I have ever lived was Fl. for 18years and now
Ga. for 5 years.
My test results were......Iowa!
I have never been there and don't think I ever met anyone from there except the DW.
She says I am picking up HER traits.
I guess I am in trouble.

Unfortunately, some of them dictate like that, as well. Hmm, did he say 15 mg or 50 mg. Don't worry, if we aren't sure, it goes back for clarification, especially meds!

Sorry I haven't posted much lately. Just have the blahs. Feel good after last epidural, but just run out of steam real quick. Been walking Sadie daily. Twice today, but not as far. I just can't seem to gain weight. Can't make saliva, so solid foods just don't work. Tried to gag down a can of chicken/rice soup, but the rice just stuck to the sides of my mouth. The broth was good, though.
Took my Breeze for smog inspection and drove GF nuts getting there. Seems to think I hog the right hand line too much. I do own the road; my taxes paid for it.
I knew smoking was bad for me, but I never talked to someone who actually went through the chemo/radiation. Would have changed things if I quit 40 years ago. It's just a pitiful way to try to live and very boring. I try to find small projects, but they don't last long. Sometimes I just get up and walk around for a few minutes then sit or lay down for a while. Tired, but can't sleep. I need to change sleep meds as my tolerance has gone up and it doesn't work as well.
