Have a great and safe day fellow Mutants.

That is not going to work. I expect more in July.
The air conditioner is on at the present time, but this evening it is supposed to get down to around 50 degrees. We get our two weeks of winter here, but it is a day here and a day there that adds up to two weeks. Then we have two weeks of spring, and then watch out because summer is coming.

From the Pacific NorthWET I can report rain and fog. Highs in the low 50s. Ditto for the rest of the week :( and I have a dental appt on Tuesday. That will be my first time driving into town since surgery. It's nice to be free again.

Barb... have you gotten into your little car and seen if you are ok with the actions of gas pedal and braking? (got enough knee flexion and does pushing hard on the brake hurt?) DH has an immobilizer on his right leg currently, it's been interesting watching him get into our little Kia's from the passenger side... driver side isn't so bad, passenger side, he is having to do a little hoppy dance inside the car to get the foot in the door.
on another note... it has gotten all the way up to a balmy 4 degrees and is snowing on us here in Kansas now.....

From the more northerly Pacific NorthWET I can report snow and fog. Highs in the low 30s. There's more snow forecast for the rest of the week. It's only Sunday and they have snow allotted for a whole week. Were does a guy complain about the injustices of the forecast?

Air conditioner still running. Thought ya'll would want to know.
Believe it or not, it's 68 degrees outside and 74 degrees inside and the AC has to maintain that 74 degrees. Stoves not on, Earlene is not cooking tonight, just that the house is sealed and warm with double pained gas filled windows. (No Herb - don't go there. You either Dennis.)
Tonight some time I'll have to switch it over to heat mode, I'm sure. Predicted 42 degrees by morning and warming up to 51 degrees throughout the day. We'll stay like that until Thursday when it gets up into the 60's again. I just love Texas, this part that is and at this time of year.
