Yup...Bob and I are planning on leaving as early as he can drag me out of bed on Thursday AM. Hoping to get there for opening ceremonies.

Sue and Martin and Ed and Jackie

That is a RVM Mini-C triple header! This is the Way of the Mutant... We have amped the colors of the Rainbow today and are fulfilling the mutant goal of meetings and curiosities across the country.

Woot!
Getting primed up for the GC, aye?

Lets hope the Rainbow is not to visible for a while, as that means rain. "Just ride boley ride".

I am 1st to post this AM. Y'all must be recovering from festivities or prepping or rolling.

We blast off at daylight. On to Abilene!

Say what! It's over 200 miles from Cooper Lake SP. What the heck time is everyone getting up? Maybe if I can get everything unhooked and hooked the night before I can get out of bed by 7:30 a.m., otherwise it's 8:00 a.m.

Being retired is hard work. I never know when I'm finished. Some days I don't get out of bed until 12:00 p.m. and some days I do it twice.

Wayne - my map shows 225 miles and 3 1/2 hours with traffic. My exact words on the Email group were - "Barb - Tx rolls in Wednesday. Probably not before 2 - but I'm guessing..."

Still think sometime not too much after 2 is doable - 3 - 4ish on the outside??

What say the Texas contingent? Rolling at 10 am - 10:30... 11:00...

LOL - Don, I was confused too. Seems I"'m retired" means either - I can do anything - or - Oh no, I can't do that, I'm retired. Clark Kent had nothing on you Wayne....!

Do men ever know how to pack the "car"?

My back is sore from carrying stuff out to the MH. After we take our showers we'll be on the road.

All y'all getting on the road make me feet itchy .. Need to roll! However, I still have to clear out the rest of the "basement" before I can repack! Ugh! My least favorite part.

No takers on the Tootsie Roll beverage? Oh well: more for me! 'Course there's always Skip and Go Naked...or Barefoot, for the family version.

Y'all be safe out there on the road. There are lots of superannuated folk on the roads these days, driving these huge motor homes and pulling 5ers, and you know reflexes and vision and decision-making suffer after ... oh, about 65. Or is that 70?

Oh, oops! That's us! Be vewwy, vewwy careful!

Cheers!
Sue
