Well the best night is the 23rd but the 24th is also supposed to be prime they are saying that there could be anywhere from 20 go 100 meteors per hour.

It's let up a little here.

Herb, we'll be careful. If I have to I'll pull over and wait it out.

We also can be out of here early if I get to bed early. Need to dump and hook up

Today we had the final walk through for selling our home of 28 years. Escrow closes on Wednesday and we are off to our new to us home in Rocklin Calif. which is near our youngest daughter. She is excited we will be near her after more than 20 years of us visiting a few times a year.
The house needs several months work to make it our style before we move in so our Moho is our home for the next few months. Leaving for Alabama and Florida in Sept. so we will just get moved in and off we go. The new house is a lock and walk so using the Moho will be much simpler now, lock the door and the next adventure begins.
The next stage is undefined as we leave day to day contact with many long time friends and our grand children but not making this change meant our final chapter is defined and we both decided we need the time together we promised each other. We have a Moho so many visits are planned to keep connected but the new people and places we will be finding will enrich our lives.
I am sure many of you have made similar decisions and as the finality of this decision sets in, self doubt creeps in around the edges as a known comfortable situation ends and our new life begins. Alan AKA mutant #21.

Bob and Teffy got to CLSP about 8 pm, came over and visited after we got them backed in and all set up. A very nice couple indeed! It was great to have them get here before the rain hit.

Hey Alan - you have been a busy mutant - and productive too! You have taken the bull by the horns and seems you've wrestled it to the ground. Well done and hearty RVM Tip of the Hat to you!! My bet is this - in no time you will be so relaxed you will mutate and extend your time in the RV!

Great hearing from ya and thanks for the update!

Alan I know how difficult it is to drive away from so many memories. When we left our home where each of my sons were born it truly was a sad day. Now when I listen to my sons talk about the big yard, the Hugh barn and running the circle through several room I realize the memories were much better than reality!

Make New Memories!

Got 4 on board and plenty of beer for my horses. Northbound from the coast. Should be contacting Sky Boss at 1300 for CLSP landing protocol.

Glad Tefly is there so Bob can sleep in.

Let the good times stampede!!!!!

It is one of those bitter sweet things of life as pages turn and we move on to the next chapter. The friends and family that are "left behind" (not in spirit) will be sad but will adjust. Sometimes they may think you crazy and be worried but that is just them being good family and caring. Sandee talks more to her family now than when we were close by. She calls her dad every day.

Whether a mutant goes your route and retains S&B holdings or sheds that for total mobility is not what defines us. It is that adventurous time when we shed some of the cement off our boots, put one foot forward into the new (and sometimes unknown) possibilities and suddenly realize that we are fully alive. It is when we bring the other foot forward to confirm we are moving forward that we really know our journey has begun.

Congrats!
