It's hard to sit somewhere else and feel helpless. Like you said good thing ex is on it, she has skin in that game and will handle it. Hope you're feeling better soon!

I can't believe a decent social worker would say what s/he did. Just about gives step-dad carte blanche! Did that get filtered through the step dad, I wonder?

We're glad to hear you are on the mend, and hoping Sandee isn't next in line! Sending Ohhhmmms for both situations and especially for the children's safety.

I left almonds, dried cherries and dried blueberries out for her last night in hopes that they would buy me a little more peace this morning. She ate a little, but started demanding something out of the frig. So, I unbungee and open the frig door. Sena then jumps on the lower ledge of the frig and looks around. First she taps on the ranch dressing. I say, "no, pick something else." Then she looks at all her choices and tries to open the bin where cheese is kept. I also set out some sliced deli ham in her bowl in hopes that I can get 15 minutes to read this forum before she demands something else.

Barb, Does Sena like spicy cold cuts. I have a source of Sopressetta (hot and mild), Genoa (hot and mild) and Provalone (hot and mild) salami along with some fantastic imported cheeses and we will be headed right past that store on our way to meet with you in August. Lemme know and I'll bring her some Italian Treats when we get together. Also if there will be others there who like the hot stuff we will bring lots.

I agree on the ex-wife pitbull connection...also, case workers...I feel are desensitized after awhile....plus they see so much of the same thing over and over, that I think they feel helpless after awhile.

Geez...we keep getting this problem in AZ where cases are ignored, mishandled, and what-have-you. It's sickening.

Thank goodness for your ex-wife.
