Sorry Sue, there wasn't much more than rocks and trees, but I thought I'd catch a pic or two on the way back to the harbor. THEN, the tide must have changed because there were huge cargo ships coming up river every 5 minutes.
I found myself fighting the current and the wakes from the ships I was so pooped by the time I got back into the harbor and got myself out of the kayak -- dry for a change, that the only thing I could think about was when nap time was.
Next time I'm going up river. That way the current can take me home. I sorely underestimated the strength of the current. And today my arms are sore from all the heavy duty paddling.
