Newest Chez Dalla-Vicenza Visitors.

These little peepers start demanding to be fed just about sun up and keep at it until sun down. Beautiful little Tree Swallows and eventually they will look like their parents.

A night and day of heavy downpours and severe thunderstorm warnings. It got really dark this afternoon. We are in the same area a tornado hit last week (yes, we do get tornados up here!) So nice to be cozy and dry in the trailer. Major part of storms past now, just rain overnight. Daughter had to decamp from the tent into trailer. Off to the next park tomorrow for 2 days, then home.

Have to be satisfied with sideways photo. Can't get it to load properly on the I-pad.

Ha!! Now that's funny. Great minds.

So here's something I don't get - my old iPhone App didn't have the emotes - so I typed them and could see them. Now - with Galaxy I have a limited set of emotes and if I type them I see the words only. Strange days indeed.

I am an APPLE.... lol... Have no idea.... Emoticons are not something i use a lot, but do know on apple there is a keyboard with special emoticons you can add from the settings.

💞💍🌈📱🚍🚐 Are some examples......

🙈🙉🙊
Fun to monkey around with the nearly useless emoticons on the iPad. The simple one I want is not there, however. It was the toothy ear-to-ear grin on the smiley face.

Hitting the Rainbow really, really soon

Friday morning around 8 a.m. we will once again hit the road. The picture that Sarah W posted of the campground in Dolores, CO got our feet to itchin'.

With two of our grandkids (Grace age 14 and Dru age 8) we are headed west. St. Louis, Oklahoma City, Amarillo, Flagstaff, and finally the Grand Canyon. From there to Durango, CO and hopefully Priest Gulch CG. Then it's to Pike Peak. Next comes Rocky Mountain National Park. The kids should love it. They're never been past St. Louis. Seeing the reactions will be PRICELESS!

No time for mini-C's unfortunately. We have to cover a lot of territory in 14 - 18 days.

The Rainbow awaits.
