And I was just gonna tell her how I hope she enjoyed her boat ride with the kids and grands while you were (ahem) working so hard.

So I assume everyone keeps track of fuel mileage. And I guess it's usually miles per gallon. I've been gone from home since leaving for the GC in April. Well with the exception of a couple weeks back for repairs I just now need to fuel up. Wow gone 4 months on one tank of fuel! That's economy mode for you!

R U an RV Mutant too?

Today, we got Gwen ready for an outing. Tomorrow I take the class B driving test.

So, gotta blow the junk off the roof, slide toppers, and under the toppers!

My dear Nola caught me in the throws of blowing stuff. 😉
She is so naughty, but sooo pretty. I'll let her go on this one. 😇

Yes, I have stork legs. It was a gift from Dad. And Mom too! I was DOOMED!!! 😁

Hey Tim, I can beat that! I pulled into Seattle in June 2013 and was planning to drive to Florida during October 2013, but plans changed. Instead, I drove 140 miles to my friend's place on the river and stayed until April when I left for the GC@CL. So that would make me burning less than 20 gallons of gas in 10 months.

Of course I made up for it by going to the GC and then returning via Yuma, AZ -- about 6,000 miles in 2 months. I don't want to know my mpg on that trip. Too many mountain ridges crossed. I just pay the AMEX bill when it's due and be thankful for all the fun we had and all the wonderful people whose faces I now know when I read about their trials and tales here.

Ok, carpet shamPOOed. Bathroom floor cleaned and waxed. Things back to normal, at least normal for a mutant RVer!

First Mary's reaction, you may need to remember that she was out in a boat with 2 of our sons and their families watching 4 yo grandson learn to wake surf. I got him started the day before.(yes I'm proud). So while they were playing, I was getting things ready to leave such as draining the tanks. Her comments were along the line of "poor dear" I should have stayed and helped you.

Now about the blond. What blond. I seemed to have left that out while explaining what happened. Mary don't read this thread so if she finds out I'll know someone squealed on me! The reaction from the blond, ( if there was one) was wow you sure can move fast, everything ok? Yep no problem!
Why in the world would she want to help fill the RV up with yuck?

Moonrover, could those be used to stiffen your awning arms by screwing it on both sides of a joint?

Maybe measure the distance between the screws and then look for someplace there are holes the size of those screws that far apart. Whatever it is, it has to be 1/4" or less thick. Right?

That jobs behind me! Y'all have fun! Next I'll be emptying out the lake only items in basement and begin my planning for IRV2 National Rally and points in between summed up with the arrival of grand child #4 in AL in Oct.

But when you do travel, you really do travel!

Ha Barb, seems you and I were the two most vocal ( irritants ) to Steve on trying to get a date and place set for the next GC. Maybe we can sneak one in while he's off on honeymoon! Lol Yellowstone area sounding good for the Canukes.
Sure glad he doesn't read personalized messages, don't want to get his pressure up!
