Ha! I actually have ~ 50' of rope lights in Mardi Gras colors. The sad thing is I need another 50' and the company doesn't have them any more. I will get white and alternate them if I can't find them elsewhere. 😕

Even the Grand Poobah - the original forsaker of rope lights has them.

Well why the heck didn't you tell us you are agonizing over locating adequate rope lights ... geesh. We can help. I'll have my assistant check my inventory to see if I can spare a couple hundred feet of festive lighting ropes. Stuff like that has to be stockpiled because you never can be certain how rope light futures markets are going to react to international events. It's part of wise "prepping" for hard times.

Thanks Merlin - your prodding lead me check for them again at my original source - they have them again...

They are not cheap but the colors are what I was looking for back in the day for a Mardi Gras Party ----

Attention Steve and Mary Ann - Attention Herb and Barb --- you Mardi Gras fans - the rope lights of festive color are here
http://www.mardigrasoutlet.com/catalog/3537.html

I just order 2 18' sections.. to attach to my other 36 feet.

I believe I could see Mardi Gras becoming our Grand Theme. We actually have already started leaning that direction, haven't we? All The Great Potentate's fault, I'm a-thinkin'!

Problem is - we gave all our Mardi Gras decorations to Steve and Mary Ann & I think they donated them to their home CG that holds MG parties every year. Hmm... could be something to ponder.
