Hey Joe, We're always open to new members and that's usually the function of the Grand Pubah and Potentate, but if you read the first two posts in this thread and declare for the Mutants here what you don't have and don't miss on your RV; and, declare that the destination is the journey you'll be well on your way to ridin' the Rainbow in Mutantville.

Best of luck....I know it's a difficult test...but look at me I made it...

Well, I guess we're a little premature. We are planning to lease the house for a year and give this fulltiming thingy a try, probably about January 1st. I guess we'll have to wait until we hit the road to answer that question!

I wouldn't let that little thing slow ya down....heck I don't have a Rainbow Rider yet, still workin' on sellin' the S&B.

Must be something like maybe.....don't have a central vac and don't miss it; or, don't have a 650 HP diesel but don't miss it???

Well hiya! Seen you elsewhere, and you don't have to fulltime to qualify as mutants. Hang tight and we'll giterdone soon!

Cheers!

Proposed Mini C Alert

Slickest1 and I are gonna attempt a meet tonight at The Springs Resort at Harrison Hot Springs. Dennis, Marcie, Bonnie and I will likely head out for some dinner. Maybe a pic or two to follow.

Hi Joe. When I joined iRV2 you were one of the first to welcome me. Since then we have had numerous howdy and hello exchanges so I'm very glad to have you stop by. I know the the other mutants will join me in welcoming you.

So the thing about we mutants is this - our RVs don't have some things and we don't miss those things. * And the Journey, not a place, is the destination.

Those of us who have been rving or camping for a while know that sometimes you never get where you were headed but you're always where ya are and getting there is the adventure of a lifetime. It's what we're here for - the ride - the drive - the journey. Sure it was great to finally get to Mt Rushmore that first time. But how could I ever forget the shimmy in my B Van, pulling off to the side of the road and stopping just before the lug nuts began shear off my rear tire. We learned so much about wheat and farming and bacon those two days in WaKeeny Kansas. We'd do it the same way all over again if given a chance. Heck we learned that no matter the retightening of lug nuts after a new tire - check em a second or maybe third time too! The journey is what makes life worth living. Being born isn't even memorable and dying isn't all it's cracked up to be. It's the journey that makes it all worth while.

So tell us what ya don't have in your RV and don't miss (maybe a dishwasher or full bath tub or electric bay locks) - and affirm that The Journey is the Destination and claim your rightful place in the RVMdom as RVM 90!

We will be glad to have among us!

* RVs sold separately. RVM status may be purchased by declaration before - during or after achieving RV ownership status. After all, the Journey is the destinatuin.

OK, that sounds simple! Maybe I can qualify after all! Mine will have to be "won'ts" instead of "don'ts) though!

Won't have 3 acres of yard to cut
Won't have a $400 electric bill to pay
Won't have a 2500 sq. ft. house to clean
Won't have house insurance to pay

and I solemnly swear that the journey is the destination. Did I miss anything?

Is that enough to get my foot in the door?
